You take a deep breath and take a step forward, taking out your (f/w) and gripping it tightly. You walked up to the building, taking a peak in the dirtied windows. Everything was in the same place it was left when the bomb was dropped several miles away. There were a few corpses sitting up right in chairs or laying on the floor or table, 4 all together. Seeing the deceased isn't something that bothered you, you've lived the past four years stepping over and sleeping next to them. You sidestep over to the door and attempt to open it, though it just falls over making a loud "WHOOMP, BANG" you wince and wait a few moments before deeming it safe to enter. Why were you so cautious?? It's simple really, after the nuclear war ended, well every other survivor turned against each other. Brother against brother, friend against friend, they fought to survive and in the most brutal way. You wanted to live through this, you were still to young.

You walk into the building, glancing around as a few rats scurried away. 'Rats.. thats a good sign' you thought as you walked to the back of the building. The kitchen is filthy and covered with dust, broken glass and random puddles of rusty water here and there. You sigh and begin to scavenge the cabinets  and pantries for food. Opening the first few cabinets you find plates and bowls. You continued to work you way through making sure you missed nothing. You eventually find some canned food. Your eyes widen as you grab it, reading the label Cinnamon apples. You shove it in your bag and look for more.

You end up finding 3 more cans of food that are still in shape and can be consumed. You smile to yourself knowing that you're not going hungry for the rest of the week. You finish your little treasure hunt and decide to look else where for food.
