It is now late at night, probably around 11, and you are a way's out of the city. Walking along the empty trash filled streets of a neighborhood.  You yawn (e/c) eyes threatening to close, staggering to the left a little and grabbed on the chain fence that lined the street. You new companion pushed you a little with his nose as if asking if you were ok. You smile down at the mutt and pat his head and continue to walk on.

A few minutes later you come across a neighborhood entrance, taking a peak down the road all you manage to see are bodies littering the street, cars smashed into each other, cloths dirty and ragged bundled into balls and Crows picking off of the corpses. You're surprised they aren't gone by now, ignoring your thoughts about the bloodied sight you pat your side, calling the mutt over and continue your way onward.

It seems like forever and you can tell its early in the morning. Not wanting to scout the area er whatever you spy a small shabby tree house in the backyard of a collapsed home. You smirk and and make your way over to the small shelter, Skoll follows close behind. The ladder seems to be gone so you look around an find a large wooden beam. You kick it a few times testing it and then reach down to pick it up. Dragging it over to the shelter to lift it up high enough to have it rest at the entrance, forming a small ramp.

You look over your shoulder at the fluffy mutt and turn back, making your way up the ramp and into the shelter. Unexpectedly Your companion follows suit, trotting up the ramp and curling into a little ball and looks up at you with bright orange orbs as if asking to be pet.  You prop yourself up against the wall and begin stroking the dogs fur, before you know it, both of you are sound asleep.

-Le time skip to a few hours-

You wake up suddenly and hear a faint bang off in the distance and the shuffling of leaves and trash down below.
