Chapter 4 - Him

River’s POV

I was with Holly towards the cafeteria, I still can’t stop thinking what happened to her awhile ago. She had tears in her eyes but why? I was walking when someone grabbed my hand.

“Babe, are you okay?” Holly asked me

“Oh yeah babe, just thinking don’t worry” I kissed her forehead and she smiled, yea she’s my girlfriend we’ve been dating for awhile already, I met her at the party and she was harassed so I saved her and she thanked me, and she told me something that she will never forgive herself, After that incident I got interested in her and I took her on a date and yea we kissed she’s easy to get I can tell you. But I only like her not in love but I did ask her to be my girlfriend but it was just a bet so I can be popular in this school if I dated her. People told me she was a bitch but she really isn’t there is something going on between her and Paris, I know I can feel, I should really get to know holly but  she’s really hard to handle, I don’t  really like her, there’s something about her that makes me really pissed, we continue walking when Damien and Macy went in our way.

“Oh hi River” Macy smiled

“Hi Mace” I replied back

“River where walking towards the cafeteria, you can sit with us if you like” Damien told me  walking away

I looked at Holly, she was nervous and she was looking at them walking away, what is happening? First I saw Paris crying but now? Holly’s nervous oh there is really something going on, and I’m about to find out.

We were continue walking and I saw Ethan.

“Hey man sup?” I asked him he went our way

“Oh yeah, sup man I was looking for Paris have you seen her?” He asked me looking around, wow this guy likes her.

“Oh uhm awhile ago I saw her at class, oh by the way come sit with us maybe she is there” I told him with a serious tone on my voice.

“Oh yeah sure, is that okay Holly?” He asked looking at Holly

“Oh-uhm..yea sure” She smiled and I grabbed her hand and we continued walking with Ethan. We entered the cafeteria, and wow there a lot of students here, I never expected as much as this. We searched for them and I saw them I smiled and Macy waved, so we continued walking but Ethan said he’ll get lunch cause he’s hungry.

“Hey guys” I smiled but I was confused why Paris was not yet here, oh well we went to the table and sat down. We were talking and asking question but Macy and Damien kept smiling at each other they are really a cute couple, just then Macy waved at the back I didn’t dare to look at it maybe it was just her friend. So I continued eating and I saw in the corner of my eye  that Holly raised her eyebrow at the back, I turned to her and she just smiled, well that’s weird. I looked at the back and saw Paris just standing there.

Paris’ POV

What the hell? Why are they here? Oh well, okay Paris Breath don’t let them get into you. I just froze there and Holly was raising her eyebrows and giving me death glares. Before I could walk River looked at me, confused oh well, I continued walking, I reached the table smiling and I put my tray on the plate, when I was about to sit down, someone covered my eyes, oh great I can’t see my food, I crossed my arms, waiting for that someone to open it, just when I was about to close my eyes, the person got his hands of and I turned to see it was

Ethan

Great, really of all people why him? Oh yea he’s hot but I’m really afraid to fall for him. I don’t usually fall in love but he is really a nice guy. I have a Philophobia causing me to be afraid of falling in love. So I looked at him puzzled, why did he do that? Not that I don’t like it but usually guys treats me trash. So I smiled at him and looked at my food and ate it.

“Well? You’re not going to talk to me?” He asked

“Oh, Hi Ethan, sorry I was busy eating my food” I smiled and he laughed, I stood up

“Anyway guys, I got to I have something to do” I grabbed all of my stuffs and ready to go

“I’ll go with you” Ethan smiled and stood up and walked over me and grabbed my books, wy is he doing this?

“Oh uhm it’s okay, you can stay with them I don’t really need help” I grabbed all of my things but he won’t give it to me.

“Oh no I’m going to go with” He smiled

“Oh okay, let’s go.” We walked towards the library cause I’m going to borrow books for our test this coming days, well call me nerd but I really want to study instead of getting laid.

“Oh well it looks like I’m here, I got to go bye” I smiled at him before grabbing the door knob, just then someone grabbed my left arm, oh great.

“Uhm, Paris? Can I- uhm take you to a date this Saturday?” He told me looking nervous, really? A date? I don’t do date, well it’s my first, no guy usually asks me to a date.

“Uhm- well sure, I’d love to” I smiled at him

“Really!? Oh thank you!” He excitedly hugged me

“Uhm can I ask your number? So I can ask where I’m going to pick you up” He smiled happily, He handed me his phone and I typed in my number. I said goodbye and went inside the library. Well maybe this is exciting right? I did the right thing right? So I grabbed my phone and texted Macy.

To- Macy Crazy: Meet me in the library now! Ur up for a surprise xx

I waited for her, just then I received a text message from her.

From- Macy Crazy: I’m coming ,what is it!?

To- Macy Crazy- It’s a surprise love xx

I waited for minutes and suddenly the door opened revealing an excited Macy, she saw me and came running towards me.

“WHAT IS IT!!??” She asked  me excitedly

“Uhm, I don’t know maybe you will not like this” I told her looking at my feet

“Huh? Why?” She asked me worriedly

“Uhm, well ethankindaaskmeonadate” I told her fast

“Wait, I can’t understand you what?”

“Well, Ethan kind of asked me on a date” I smiled

“AHHHHHH! Really!!?? When?” She asked me happily

“Uhm this Saturday and I need your help” I asked her

“WELL!? I can help you!” She told me happily, just then  the bell rang, we hurriedly got out of the library.

Hours went by and signaling for the dismissal, I hurriedly went to the parking lot to see Holly and River making out well it’s them I can’t do anything, I went inside my car and turned on the radio, it played ‘One Way or Another by One Direction’ So I sang to it, and started my car, Oh I’m a fan x I parked my car in front of our house and went inside. I hurriedly went inside and went to the kitchen and saw a note.

Hey Honey, I’m still at work sorry about that, I didn’t able to cook for dinner, so I left my credit card if you want to buy anything, I’ll be home around 1 in the morning so don’t stay up late! Love you xx

P.S. don’t buy anything expensive!

How cute, I left the note and went to my room, I changed into my 1 Thing Sweatshirt and my black leggings. I slipped on my red vans and baggy beanie, I grabbed my iphone, car keys, glasses and credit card. I closed the door and went in to my car. I was planning on going to an ice cream parlor and to the park. I parked my car and went inside and ordered a cookie dough ice cream I just love eating, don’t judge me it’s my life. So I went to a table not occupied and sat there, I checked my phone but no one texted so I put it in my wallet. I decided to stroll of the park. Just I was about to go out, I saw him.
