Chapter 7 - Change of Plans

Paris’ POV

I woke up by the sound of chirping birds, I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was River’s name appear, I grabbed my phone and opened it.

Hey beautiful xx wake up! I’m treating you for breakfast, meet me at Starbucks 8 am  ;)

What? He’s treating me again? I looked at the clock to see it’s already 7!? I hurriedly went to shower strip of and took a quick shower, When I went out to pick an outfit, I went to wear a Black Stud Shoulder Crop Top and Denim shorts, I slipped on my white 1460 boots. I grabbed my Rayban, White leather satchel, and my Polaroid. I went downstairs to see my dad still sleeping, I left him a note and got out, I decided to just walk cause I wanna enjoy London, I walked for about 15 minutes when I arrived at Starbucks to see River’s motorbike parked outside. I smiled and continued walking, I went inside to see him waiting patiently in a table, I slowly walked to his back and covered his eyes.

“Hi pretty boy” I whispered, I was still covering his eyes and suddenly he grabbed my hands so that he can see, I looked back at him and I frowned, he had a black eye on his left eye and he had many bruises in his face. I happily hugged me, whoa why? So I felt him hug me back, he buried his face to on my neck, I grabbed his arms to let me go, he assisted me to the table. I looked at him, staring at me.

“What happened to you?” I asked him worriedly

“Oh, uhm it’s nothing” He looked down, I grabbed his hand and he looked at me confused.

“No, it is not, who did this to you? I’m gonna kill them I swear” I told him causing him to laugh, he had the cutest laugh.

“Really princess? You’ll kill them for me?” He smiling cheekily

“Oh yes my prince, I’ll them basically, for hurting you” I smiled and laughed

“But seriously, who did that to you, what happened?” I asked him worriedly

“Oh, I uh went to a bar yesterday to drink, and I kinda was making out with a girl, and his boyfriend came and punched me through my beautiful face” He said pouting, I laughed

“Oh God, really? So come on then let’s get you cleaned up” I stood up reaching for his hand, we quickly got out and went to have a walk leaving his motorbike and yea he didn’t mind, he told me he’ll get it back some other time. We walked for another 15 minutes back to my house, I opened the door making my way inside. I realized my dad was at work already because of the note he made.

To Paris,

I’m at work honey, I’ll be having a business trip and I will be leaving for about 2 weeks, make sure to be safe, I left my credit card on your cabinet please use it for good purposes okay? And you can invite friends if you want, but please don’t burn the house! I already told our neighbors to look after you okay? Take care, I love you baby girl :*

P.S. Don’t do something funny, okay?

I laughed at his letter, causing River to look at me, I assisted him towards the living room.

“Wow, awesome house” He said looking around

“Why thank you, just go sit down I’ll get the first aid kit” I smiled looking at him nod, I made my way to my room to change my clothes, I decide to wear a sweatshirt and sweats, I also grabbed my phone to see if Ethan already texted me, but he didn’t I made my way to go to the bathroom to get the first aid, I went downstairs to see River sleeping in the couch, I came closer to him to see him wince in pain while he moved. I took the cotton ball and pour down the medicine, I applied it in his face causing him to wake up.
