Wolf (a TMNT story)

Patrol

We jumped roof to roof. The breeze whipped my hair into my face multiple times but the fresh air was heaven compared to the damp, smelly sewer air. My gloves were lighter than usual, probably because of my new strength. I heard commotion coming from far away, the docks maybe.

"Guys. I hear something. They sound like...... they sound like Kraang!!!" I yelled, my gloves shooting out their hidden blades.

"Where?" Leo asked. He's still suspicious of me, which I can relate to. I MOSTLY trust these guys, but, I can never be sure.

"The docks. I can hear blasters." I calmed down and let the knives retract. "And something else, I can hear electric motors and smell oil and metal. Nothing like Kraang droids though."

"Well then, let's go guys."  He said and gestured to us. We ran all the way to the docks, where we saw Kraang and the ninjas I saw the night I met the turtles loading crates into a van. I could see against glow coming from then and I recognized it instantly. It was mutagen.

I look to Leo, who nodded, realizing my plan. I jumped onto a shipping container and reached for a shuriken from my belt. I launched myself from the container and landed right next to one of the ninja. I drove the shuriken into the back of its head and watched as it spazzed out and crumbled to the floor.

I silently took out the bots, purposely saving the Kraang for last. I raised my hand and gave a thumbs up. It was the signal for the guys to come down. Raph gave me a small smirk. I felt my cheeks slightly heat up and I mentally cursed myself. Wolf probably heard it though.

Wow. You've got it bad.

Oh shut up. Your part of me too.

I'm not saying I don't like him. I'm just not making it obvious.

I huffed visibly and unsheathed my blades. These things always reminded me of the hidden blades that the Ezio from Assassins Creed used. I pulled a Kraang around to face me and I drove the blade into his stomach, killing the alien inside.

There was a sharp squeal and the bot sank to the ground. Around me the turtles were breaking and smashing the Kraang to bits and pieces. And I wanted in on the fun.

I gave a Kraang a sucker punch (that ended painfully for him due to the blades on my wrists.) I kicked a Kraang and cut off its head then stepped on the bubble gum pink alien as it tried to scramble off. I hate these creatures.

I grabbed one of crates and pulled off the lid. Inside was three canisters of mutagen. I scowled. What did those robo ninjas have to do with the Kraang? I'd have to ask Leo at the lair. Then there was a heavy thump from behind me. The sound disrupted my train of thought.

I slowly turned. This guy has just annoyed me. One thing I hate is being interrupted. It was a red fish. It had robotic silver feet, most likely Kraang tech, and an orange breathing tube on its back. I raised my eyebrow at the thing. It looks so stupid I just want to laugh.

"Ah, I see the turtles have found a new ally." It said. "I suppose I must dispose of it before it causes more trouble for Master Shredder." He had a cocky Brazilian accent.

"You can try Fish man!!" I yelled and charged at him. He moved to the side and tried to kick me with his metal leg. I caught it and pulled it forward. I punched him hard in his ugly face. He growled and tried to bite me.

I dodged his sharp teeth and stabbed his arm. He hissed in pain and took out a switch knife. I ignored the stinging sensation as he drove it into my left shoulder.

That's gonna leave a mark.

Tell me about it. This dude's pissing me off.

Wolf and I merged, turning into a large black wolf. I felt my bones pop and break, then go into place.

"You shouldn't have done that." Wolf said with a growl. She jumped onto the walking fish and tore at the orange thing on its back.

"You fool! I need that to breathe!!!" He yelled. Wolf and I transformed back.

"Well then, you'd better get your butt to the ocean." I said. He growled once more then dove off the edge of the docks and into the water. Gone. Good riddance.

Surrounding me were the turtles. "What the hell was that thing?!" I demanded.

"Oh, he's Fishface." Mikey said. "I named him by the way."

"He said something about a Master Shredder. Who is he?"

Leo looked to his brothers with hesitation filling his eyes. "This information can and probably will put you in danger." He said.

"Dude, the fish guy already knows I'm friends with you. He's probably reporting to Master Wrecker about me as we speak." I said.

"Shredder." Donnie corrected. I rolled my eyes at him and said "whatever."

"Then sensei is the one that has to tell you." Leo said. I nodded and followed him as he jumped onto a shipping container. We jumped roof to roof until we finally got to a manhole. Raph lifted the lid and jumped in. Mikey followed and then Donnie then me. Leo went last, closing the sewer entrance behind him.

When we got to the lair Leo gestured for me to follow him to the dojo, where Master Splinter was meditating. He opened one eye. Leo told him about our mission and of the startling news we discovered.

"The Kraang have allied with the Shredder. This is worse than we've ever thought possible." He said.

"Sensei, Layla wishes to know about Shredder." Leo said. Master Splinter sighed and looked to me.

"It all started when I was human. Oruku Saki,or the Shredder, and I were once brothers. We were best friends.

"One day we met a woman named Tang Shen and we both fell deeply in love with her. Shen's love was for me and Saki became jealous. He resented me. Then, we discovered that Saki was born into another family. A family that rivaled the Hamato clan.

"He attacked me and we fought. A fire started in my home and my dear Tang Shen was killed and so was my daughter, Miwa. Saki escaped and now we have discovered that he is here, in New York.

"He now knows I am alive, and will stop at nothing to destroy all that remains of the Hamato Clan. Which means me, my sons, and all our allies. If Xever has told the Shredder about you, you may be in danger also." He explained.

"He can try!!" I yelled, angry at what this guy's done. I heard a chuckle come from Raph. "That jerk ain't invincible."

"No, but I'm afraid he is nearly impossible to defeat now that he has allied with the Kraang." Master Splinter said.

"Looks like we'll have a rough couple a' days ahead of us." I said and punched my fist into my palm.

"Yup." Mikey said, holding a slice of pizza in his hand. Everyone looked at him strangely. We all thought the same thing: Where'd the pizza come from? "What?"

We all laughed.

That was fun.

Yeah. We got to smash some bots, kill some Kraang.

Best part.

Hell yeah it was.

What I didn't know, was that we would have some new mutants on our side.
