This is long but it's worth the read I promise:
Okay this may seem REALLY silly but bear with me. I'm looking in the mirror and look down in our sink to see this little bug in some water left in the sink. Because I was having a particularly bad day I decided to save the little guy. I proceed to push it out of the water and blew on it to dry its wings. (I was having a bad day okay it's been a long one..) so anyways I'm reflecting on today and youth group about prayer. (As I'm watching this bug struggle) I believe we ALL could improve our prayer life, with the craziness of life that definitely doesn't exclude me. So something in me decided to pray about this little bug in my sink. If faith the size of mustard seeds can move mountains surely my God could help this bug fly? It's such a small thing I know however God listens to all prayers even if what we ask for isn't apart of our plan. SO ANYWAYS. As I finished my prayer I blew on this bug and it takes off. I swear my mouth hit the floor. This bug was doomed and has been struggled for almost 20 minutes. I think we all have been guilty of praying to God but not believing that He will answer our prayers. Matthew 17:20 says (Jesus speaking) "Truly I tell you, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible." Nothing is impossible for God even though we don't always trust Him, His plan is always for our good. Praise God😌
