Chapter 15: A Surprise

Shadows POV

I was at the front of the back door. I just couldn't believe what i saw. I slowly opened the door as the memory from the boy was back in my head.

Flash Back (Shadows POV)

I was going to my secret place, away from the palace and royal life. I was smiling 'cause i lost Miles with the carriage. They were probably looking for my, but i didn't care. As i went to the waterfall, i saw that the rock wasn't in it's lace. Someone else knows about my secret place. I took my guard up and went in he cave. I walked as slow and as quiet as i can so the person would not hear me. I finally got to the end of the cave to find something i never thought i would see.

Shadow: Who are you?

?????: Ah!

It was like i was deaf. I heard nothing. Those emeralds... Those sparkling eyes... That soft ocean fur... I was snapped out of me thoughts when i saw he was bleeding.

Shadow: Are you ok?

I asked as i wanted to help. I got closer and i saw that he started to panic. Somehow he tricked me and got pass me. I followed him till the waterfall and i went back in. I took his basket and left, running.

It was sunset and i was still running. I found him taking his breath. He saw me coming and started to panic again. But this time hi tripped and fell.

I cough up to him.

?????:*moan*

Shadow: Are you ok? You forgo-

?????:*turns around and pushes him* Go away!!!*gets up*

He started to run, but the boy grabbed him by the arm.

Shadow: You forgot your picnic basket. *shows him the picnic basket*

?????:U-uhh....*blush*

Shadow:*smile* Here. *gives him the basket*

?????:*takes it slowly* Th-thank you.

Shadow:*smiles*Well i gotta go. Hope i see you again. *runs off* BYE!!!!!*waves*

I left him standing there, blushing. It was the cutest thing i have ever seen.

End Of Flash Back(Still Shadows POV)

I was now out in the back garden. The boy didn't seem to notice me.

Shadow: Who are you?

The memory seemed to replay again.

Sonics POV

I was in the back garden as i was looking at my favorite rose.

?????: Who are you?

A memory replayed again.

I turned around as i saw what i thought i would never see again. It was the boy in my lost memory. Or better yet....the prince. I just looked at him. Now i know for sure that the prince was the boy i met before. But yet i needed to be sure.

Shadow(He already knows his name as YOU all know :P): Are you okay?

I just stared at him.

Shadow:*starts walking to Sonic*

He started to walk to me. I got up a fast as i can.

Shadow:*stops* It's okay. I won't hurt you.*continues walking slowly*

Everything was the same but....this time, stood right where i was. I knew who he was. I was clear now. The boy i once met....was the man standing in front of me....the man i once danced at the ball....the one i'm in love with....

Sonic: Shadow....

I didn't realise that i said that out loud. He went pale. He just froze in his foot steps.

Shadow: How did you know my name?

Sonic: You're the prince of course.*bows**stands up* And...

Shadows POV

And what? I really wanted to know.

?????: We met when we were little...

What? I've never met that guy! Is he lying to his prince?! But yet... He seems so familiar....

?????: Remember?*takes a step* We met at a meadow...*takes a step* At a cave...*take a step* Behind a water fall...*takes a step*

At every sentence, he took a step.

?????: You ask me who i was...*takes a step* I turned around and just stared at you...*stops* I ran away.... You gave me my basket.... And a rose...*looks down blushing a pink with a soft smile*

I was shocked. I she really the boy i fell in love with? He went for his back to get something?

?????:*shows him*

My eyes went wide. I froze even more. H-He was holding.... The crystal slipper....

Me: FINALLY! Finished the part.

Sonic: Took you long enough.

Me: I know but my dad took my tablet and dismantled my computer too. T^T

Shadow: Stop being a wimp and look at the bright side.*crosses arms*

Sonic: Yeah! You updated didn't you?*wink*

Me: Yeah.... Well i hope ya liked it guys i'll try to update as fast as i can! PLEAS comment! I wanna know your thoughts 'bout this story.
