Chapter 2 - Nice To Meet You

*Erin's POV*

"I thought this man looked familiar." I stared into his eyes as the waitress ushers me to his table.

"Sir, mind sharing a seat?" the waitress asks really politely.

"Uhh yeah sure." he replied.

I thought to myself, "That's really conflicting so, it that a yes or a no?"

As if he could read my mind, he continued, "I mean, no I don't mind. Sit, please."

Just as he spoke his second sentence, I had recognised his voice.

Of course! It was CaptainSparklez.

"Thanks." I said. "Erin."

Oh wait, maybe he doesn't know my name.

"I mean, Aureylian." I held my hand out to him, waiting for his reply.

"Jordan." he finally did.

"I know, CaptainSparklez. Never expected to see you here." I commented, trying to create a conversation.

"Hey, why not?" he asked, then continued, "Aureylian huh? Sounds really familiar. Are you a Youtuber?"

"Yupsie." I replied.

"That's cool."

"So..." I intended to drag the word, but Jordan beat me to it. We said the same thing at the same time.

*Jordan's POV*

Balls.

How am I supposed to continue with the conversation?

"So..." I was interrupted by Aureylian.

"You speak first." she said.

"Nah, I was gonna ask you if you were gonna get a drink?" I asked nervously.

"Oh. I was gonna ask you what drink you got." she said.

"Oh, aha. Mocha Frappe."

"Mmm... sounds great!" she hopped up from her seat and went to the queue.

I shuffled in my seat, trying to find a more comfortable way of sitting down.

Comfortable, but I wouldn't look like a monkey.

I looked at my jeans and Pax East tag.

Eeesh... maybe I should a nice pair of shorts and a T-shirt that would represent me. And just me.

Maybe like some green shorts or something. That would be more comfortable, wouldn't it?

"I'm back." she sat down and smiled.

At this moment, I felt my heart beat in a strange manner. It never happened to me before.

What's this? I started to question myself. I'm 21, I've never fallen in love before. Well maybe a couple of decent girls in college and fifth grade, but I had never felt this way before.

Stop. Jordan. Stop.

Get a hold of yourself.

*Erin's POV*

I walked back to the seat with my drink and caught Sparklez shuffling in his seat.

"I'm back." I said, with a wide smile on my face.

We locked eyes for a few seconds and he looked away, bashfully.

He's pretty cute man, this guy feels different.

I started thinking about my past relationships and how hard it was a few years back when I was still married.

"You wanna do collabs together?" Jordan looked back at me when I finally snapped myself out of my thoughts.

"Uhh, yeah sure." I replied.

Wait... a YouTuber with like 4 million subscribers just asked if I wanted to collaborate with him? That's so cool!

"So, what games do you play?" he asked me.

"Minecraft." I replied.

"Hey! Me too." Jordan said enthusiastically.

"I... kinda knew that." I said.

Of course I knew, he's like such a cool guy man, how could you not know CaptainSparklez.

"So... h-ha-how did you come up with the name CaptainSparklez?" I asked, trying to hold in my laughter.

"It was a dare." he gave me the face, but started laughing at himself anyway.

"Ahh... I see."

"Anyway nice to meet you. Here's my number, so call me maybe." I gave him my number, which I did not know why I did.

"Nice to meet you too." he replied with a big, wide smile on his face.
