Chapter 8 Mad

You had been trying to avoid Joseph for a few days but he wasn't leaving you alone . You didn't want to tell Myles because of the way he reacted the last time .

You were out with Cassie shopping for Sky . When you bumped into Joseph

Joseph : hey , how are you ? You would think your avoiding me .

He laughed awkwardly

Y/n : it's just been a bit awkward . Myles is my husband so you have to understand why we haven't spoken

Joseph : did he tell you to stay away from me

Cassie : don't ask her questions like that's she told you what the deal is . Joseph move on she's your past . She's moved on , you should too

Joseph : did I ask you Cassie , it's none of your business . Y/n , did Myles ....

Y/n : yes , he did . You happy . I'm going .

Joseph : you've known me for so long and your just going to stop talking to me because your man told you too .

You were walking away and you started to walk back

Y/n : don't pretend that you've been here all along . I haven't seen you for years and you just expect it to be the way it was when you left . I changed , you changed . And Myles is not my man . He's my husband don't forget that . I don't love you like I love Myles . I'm not that teenage girl you fell in love with any more , a lot has changed .

You walked off with Cassie . Joseph stood there dumbfounded .

You went home , you were mad . You got home and Myles was holding Sky

Myles : I thought she might have forgotten what we look like it's been a while since she's been home

You gave Myles a fake smile

Myles : what's going on

Y/n : don't worry , I'm fine

Myles put sky in the playpen and grabbed your arm before you could walk away

Myles : what's going on , talk to me

You gave Myles a look and he automatically knew what was up

Myles : Joseph , I swear this guy wants me to beat the crap out of him

Y/n : Myles I put him straight ok , so let's not be to crazy . Even though it's sexy as hell that you wanna protect me

Myles : oh , you like when I do that

Myles began to kiss your neck and caress your waist

Y/n : Myles . Sky is over there

Myles : damn .

Myles looked in the playpen and Sky was asleep . Myles picked her up gently and put her in her room , he turned in the baby monitor and he ran over to you and put his arms around your waist .

Myles : where was I

He picked you up , your legs wrapped around his torso . He carried you upstairs your bedroom .
