Chapter 15 Know You Better

It was just you and Myles . Sky was at Debbie's house for a few days .

Y/n : can we talk

Myles : yeah sure

Y/n : the other night can't happen again . I know we've had our share of problems with Joseph but I wanted to bury the hatchet and start over .

Myles : you could have told me

Y/n : I was in time

Myles : didn't we say no secrets

Y/n : but it's not fair that your putting this all on me . You can't stand here and tell me that you and this Melissa girl are not flirting with each other . But I never said anything because I trusted that you wouldn't do that to me . I trust you so trust me

Myles hugged you

Myles : I'm sorry , I love you . I've got to go to the studio to finalise some tracks . I'll be back soon ok

Y/n : I'll have a surprise waiting for you

You kissed Myles on the lips

Y/n : love you 

Myles : love you too

Myles got in the car contemplating the decision he was about to make . He picked up his phone and called Melissa .

Melissa : hey is everything ok ?

Myles : can we talk

Melissa : sure , you wanna come over . I'll send you my address

Myles : sure , be there shortly

Melissa sent Myles the address . She only lived 10 mins away . Myles parked outside her house he got out the car and walked to her door . He knocked twice before she opened the door . He gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek .

Melissa : how you been ?

Myles : crappy

Melissa : for lying to her

Myles : yeah , it's not the best situation . I'm attracted to you but I have wife and she trusts me and I hate lying to her

Melissa : so why are you here , Myles go home 

Myles : I just can't stop thinking about you

Melissa : Myles if you weren't married , this wouldn't be a conversation . But I've met her and your daughter . It's already messy

Myles : can I just stay tonight

Melissa : Myles .

He smiled and wrapped his arms around Melissa's waist

Melissa turned round so now they where face to face . Myles grabbed her chin and was about to kiss her . But she moved away

Melissa : Myles you should go

Myles : I wanna be here with you

Melissa : I just can't do this

Melissa stood by the open door waiting for Myles to exit

Myles walked towards her , kissed her cheek

Myles : call me

Melissa closed the door and let out a sigh of relief

Myles got in the car and was about to drive off . He got out the car and he walked towards Melissa's door .

Myles : I'm sorry I said I wanted to talk . I just wanna get to know you a little bit better . I'm sorry if I over stepped

Melissa opened the door and let him back in

Melissa : cup of hot chocolate

Myles : that would be great

Myles spent the rest of the night talking to Melissa , getting to know her better . His phone was on silent so he didn't see the numerous missed calls from y/n

You sat at the table with a candle light dinner , the food was now cold and tears started to run down your face . You didn't clean anything up you just left it and went to bed .
