"Ugh!" I said as I get out of my bed

"I said get out of bed or we will have a repeat of last night!"

"Coming!"

"Hurry up we are hungry!" My step brother screamed.

With a mental scream I rushed to my closest and changed Into sweatpants and a T shirt and took of running down stairs to get breakfast ready. So wile I'm making breakfast I'll fill you in on everything so you don't get confused.

My name is Rayne Maverick I am 16 years old my parents were Donna and Rick Maverick and I was a only child. The key word here is; WAS, the reason for this is that when I was 9 there was an fire that burn down our house wile I was at preschool killing both my parents . I was then put in childcare home, at the age of 10 a family adopted me and I was told that everything is going to be ok and that I will have a new family to love me an care for me and they were right, that was until the wife Claire left the husband with 3 kids ; me and there 2 boys ,and my life took a wrong turn, the husband Jack Mason change into a nightmare he began to drink and started beating me, his reason is that his whore of a wife chose to adopt me and now everytime he looks at me he only sees the mistakes he had made and I was only useful for one thing, for his pleasure. I have been abused in every way by that man and his 2 boys are just like him. Clark and Jason Mason they are 3 years older than me.

So now you know what my story is you are probably wondering what I look like and what I'm like . I'll do a profile thing so it's easier to keep up with and so it won't be too confusing.

There you have it all you need to know about me and I should hurry otherwise I'll be late for school and have a black eye because I'm taking to long.

Putting their breakfast in front of them I run upstairs lock my door so I can get ready without having to worry about them. Taking a quick shower I head to my closet and picked out black skinny jeans, black strapless top with a leather jacket and my black with silver linings combat boots, finishing the look with my lord of the rings necklaces, and my LOTR bracelet. Tying my hair back in a ponytail and putting my glasses back on I grab my LOTR bag open my door and as fast as I can run out of the house taking the shortcut through the forest.

While walking I hear a pained howl as well as a small animal cry, looking down at my watch if I ignore it then I will get to school on time, but fortunately for the poor animal I am not that kind of person. Walking towards the sound the first thing I see is a wolf cub sitting next to a adult wolf probably it's mother, the poor mother was lying on the ground and as I am walking closer I can see what's wrong the mother got caught in a bear trap it's leg was bleeding but luckily it looked like the leg was not broken. Stepping closer I startled the mother and cub I would have laughed at the baby cubs growl if it wasn't for the mothers menacing growl.
"It's okay I'm not going to hurt you I'm just trying to help please let me."
Saying soft reassurances to them making sure the mother could see my every move I bent down in front of the wolf's leg and studied the trap the had to be a latch somewhere. I have been looking for it for 10 min now and finally found it. Unhooking the latch took some time but I got it and the trap fell away from the leg. All that I need to do now is stop the blood flow and as luck would have it I carry bandages with me at all times taking out a bandage from my pack I slowly crept closer and carefully wrapped it around the injured leg.

Looking up I saw the mother looking at me with crystal blue eyes there was something in them that warmed me and made me feel happy that I chose to help, her cub still needed her and she was very grateful for my help. Suddenly I heard a rustling in the bushes looking towards it a man came out of it holding a shotgun

" I will only say this once girl get out of my way you are standing between me and my pay day."

"You can't hunt in these woods it's a protected reserve it's illegal to hunt hear!"

"Like I care, now get out of the way."
As he said this the wolf and cub made a run for it but the mom was to slow, the Hunter pointed the gun at her and fired of a shot and just as he did that I jumped in front of the wolf and took the bullet to the stomach screaming out in pain. Falling to the ground, it felt like all my insides were torn out, not going to lie that hurt like a bitch somewhere in the haze of pain I heard someone mutter 'shit' and then I heard running and everything went black.

It felt like I was flying and just as that feeling came it stopped and then there was a flash and everything became white and I was now on solid ground, standing up from the ground was a bitch but when I looked down to inspect the wound there is no hole just a bruise.

"What the hell is happening to me? " I mumble
I almost screamed when I heard a soft voice saying
"Do not be afraid child for this was the only way I could save you."
As I turned to see who it was I gasped the woman is beautiful, her hair is silver it flowed down to her waist she wore a white dress but what captured me the most about her is her eyes they are crystal blue, just like the wolf's eyes, strange?

"Who are you? What do you mean by that? Where am I? "
"I am Lira Female alpha of the red moon pack, the reason I chose to save your life is because you saved the lives of mine and my daughter not just once but 2 times and I thank you for that I am in your debt, and I wish to help you for I have seen you're memories and it has angered met to see a pup treated the way you were so I have taken it upon myself to grant your hearts desire and give you 3 wishes to do with as you see fit because they are perfect wishes there are no rules you can wish for anything, but be careful for what you wish for, as for where you are, you are in limbo here you will be granted your hearts desire, where you go from here is up to that desire and unfortunately we do not have much time so I will say farewell for this will be the last time you see me so good luck and thank you for your help."

As this was being said all I could do was stare trying to make sense of it. The more I try the more I feel like I'm going to pass out and as she said the last words I started to panic

"Wait please wait! Where am I going to end up and what do you mean wishes and you can't just leave... hey wait!" And with that said she disappeared and I passed out again.
