Description:

Louis wasn't definitely a person who liked taking risks. Risk means that you're willing to go against all odds. A risk can potentially ruin a person's life, and turn it upside down whenever it pleased. So why is exactly meeting a certain hybrid change his mind?

-Louis-

"C'mon kitty, kitty." I crowed, leading the kitten boy into the bath tub. Curly hissed at me with a cold glare. "Curly, c'mon, you're all dirty, and I just want you to feel clean, not that it bothers me, but you know, people need their baths too, even hybrids like you." I rambled on desperately. The kitten-eared boy only huffed, crossing his arms as he stormed out the door. I frowned, swiping my hand down my face frustratedly.

I definitely couldn't handle this, this wasn't like taking care of my old pet cat Molly who was big, and massive in size who went missing after I turned 5, I gotta start reminding myself, that this hybrid was just as human as me, and that he is most certainly not a cat, if you hide the ears and tail anyways. Problem is though, he's not exactly co-operating with me here. Ever since last night, he had avoided all contact with me, and stayed in one corner of the house where I wasn't. About halfway till 3 am in the morning, I was just too tired to even argue anymore, let alone try to get him to like me. I know I couldn't do this alone--I needed the help.

My hand instantly went to my back pocket, scrolled down my contact list, and went to the only person who could possibly help me with this predicament. 'Li, I need your help.' I texted quickly as I emerged from the washroom. The curly-headed boy only sat comfortably on the plush couch, tail lazily swishing from side-to-side. He glared the moment I got within meters away from him, and I groaned, hearing the familiar chimes of phone indicating a new text and what a surprise!--It's Liam.

'I'll be right there in 10.' is all it says, and I smiled happily, heading for the kitchen, and retrieving myself a cup of tea as I read the Sunday papers diligently. Oddly, I didn't want to read about more about the death of many hybrids down a few blocks from my house, so I quickly folded it into a close, guiltily staring at the kitten boy by my couch and sighing in dismay.

The sound of the doorbell echoed towards the whole house right on time, maybe earlier and Curly jumped with a squeak, burrowing himself behind the couch once more. I smiled fondly at his adorableness, walking towards him to scratch behind his ears, only to be hissed at for the twentieth time as of today. I frowned and headed towards the door, only to see Niall already rushing in towards the kitchen murmuring something about wanting something to eat. "Keep your dog on a leash why don't ya?" I teased, seeing Liam by the porch as he rolled his eyes. "I wish he was, then he'd have to get a legitimate reason to act like such a slob when we're kissing." Liam teases back. Niall groans in protest, but remains silent, quietly rummaging through my whole fridge. "Since when do you read the newspaper? Or rather, I didn't know you can read!" Liam jokes, eyeing the newspaper at hand.

I barked out a sarcastic laugh, clapping him a little too hard on the back and allowed him in. "So what's the problem?" he asks, coughing slightly and immediately landing his eyes on the hybrid. "I think you can already guess." I confessed sheepishly. Liam only snorted, and sat himself on a bar stool by the kitchen. "Hmm, he seems to be accustoming properly, I mean, he's not like clawing at your face or anything and he's watching television like he's been here for years if that's your question." I rolled my eyes. "Li, he scratched me on the collar bone yesterday, I'm most definitely sure he hates me, plus he doesn't even want to take a bath." Liam lolled his head back in laughter. "No way! Is our little Lou lou afraid of a challenge?" he prodded.
