Poetry Collection #2: Superior

What to we have to do with it?

Your ethnicity, is what defines you.

It's like a code.

A code specific to you.

It's who you are.

Is your skin a different color?

The answer is no.

Who's to know the Superior?

Have you been to the year 13?

Where they black? White? In-between?

Who were they?

Who's to know.

Who's to know who they are.

We do know they're the reason you are who you are today.

The Superior is a title.

It's not given away or earned at a cost.

The Superior should be locked in a box.

The Superior should be buried in a box six feet under.

The Superior is also not you.

That's not who you are.

Do you like girls? Boys? How 'bout both?

It's not a choice.

It's a trait.

A quality.

Another code, specific to you.

It's who you are.

They are not Superior,

You are not Superior,

Just be true to you. You're only ever who you were.

Just be true to you,

That's all you'll ever need to know.
