"Ashton, do we have everything we need for Iris?" you ask your husband.
"Yep. Dr. Keene is bringing the birthing supplies so all we can do know is keep our families on speed dial and wait," he rubbed your belly.
"I can't believe we're only one week away from holding her," you smile at him.
CALUM
"Where are the sleepers, Honey?" Cal called from upstairs.
"I've got two down here! Can you bring the nappies?" you called back as you relax on the couch. A couple minutes later, he thumped down the stairs to stuff the newborn sized diapers into the bag that you packed for the birth. He slipped your feet into his lap as he sat down.
"Are we ready?" Calum asked as he began to massage your feet.
"I think so," you sigh as you close your eyes.
LUKE
"The bag is packed, Mum's been called, your dad sends his wishes and he's staying at a hotel near the hospital with your siblings," Luke said as he closed the front door.
"Wonderful. I love you," you murmur. He practically ran to your side and crashed his lips to yours.
"We'll have two little princesses soon, and I love them so much already, but when they're here, you're still my queen, and I'll love you a thousand times more," he rested his forehead on yours and smiled.
MICHAEL
"How do you put these seats in?" you hear Michael mutter as you waddled outside.
"Do you want me to call Karen?" you giggle.
"No, I can do this myself. You need to get back on the couch. They're due in two days so you shouldn't be walking around," he scolded.
"I'll be fine, Honey," you smirk. "Let me help or I will call your mother."
"Fine!" he groaned and stepped back. You snap all three seats in within a minute.
"All done!" you grab his hand. "Come read with us."
