"Hey Lexi are you ready to meet my dads boss's son?" my friend Laura said in a weird way, almost like it was hard to say.
"Yeah its going to be fun." I said while smiling and putting on my mascara. I looked over to her. She was putting on a dress.
"Hey do you have another dress that I can use?" - I looked at her- " I don't want to look like a piece of crap when he sees me." I looked at her and smiled. She walked over to her closet and pulled out the cutest dress ever.
"That'll work" I walked over and grabbed the dress that she was holding. " Thank you "
I looked at her while walking into the bathroom. She was spinning in circles like a 4 year old would do. I rolled my eyes. When I was getting dressed I heard a knock on Laura's door.
"Yes, just a minute." I heard her say. It was her dad. I couldn't quite hear what he said besides "HURRY UP!!!!!" she slammed the door and walked over to the bathroom. To stop her from wasting air I opened the door. She looked at me if I were and angel.I looked back at her and judged her.
"What?!" I said in a harsh voice.
"Nothing you just...." - I looked at her -" look like a model! "
I smiled I nodded my head towards the door. We walked down the steps and saw Laura's dads' boss walk in the door. We were still walking down her staircase as the boss's son walks in. I couldn't help but stare. And me unfortunately being clumsy fell down the stairs. I hit my head on the bottom step and Laura and everyone else came running after me.
"Hey are you okay?" Laura asked
Do I look okay? I wanted today that so bad but instead I started laughing and stood up. They all looked at me. Then I started walking to the table. They followed.
I looked at Laura and nudged my head for her to introduce me to everyone.
"Oh I'm sorry, this is my friend lexi." she said
"Hi its nice to meet you guys, sorry for the shock..., that wasn't planned." I looked down and smiled.
There was a moment of silence silence until the boss's son reached his hand towards mine.
"Hello lexi, my name is Nathan, but you can call me Nate."
I took his hand and shook while staring into his dark brown eyes and then noticed its been 3 minutes before Laura said something.
"So who's hungry?" She looked at me like I was crazy.
I let go of Nathan's hand and took a seat at the table. For the rest of the night I was staring at him and his eyes and his messy hair that anyone would love. When we finished eating everyone sat and talked for a long time. After a while I got bored and went upstairs for a while. - I told them I had a headache.-
After a while I heard someone coming up the steps. It was Nathan, he was talking to someone. I walked up to the door and cracked it. I saw Nathan pacing around the hallway. He was on the phone I don't like snooping but I'm pretty curious.
"Listen! I got you your money just give me some time." he ran his hand through his hair and made it even more perfect. I could tell he was getting really mad. I went to walk away because it is not my right to be listening but as soon as I walked away the door made a noise. Nathan ended his call and came to the door and tackled me. Did I mention that it was dark?
"Oomph!! Ouch get off of me!!!" I screamed.
"Who are you?" he pulled out his cell phone and shined it in my face, then realized who I was and got off of me.
