Unknown: LOL, who da hell else, girl? Aye, you taking a dump or sum cuz my movie start in 15.

I quickly checked my reflection in the mirror before leaving the bathroom, not feeling anything but giddy. In high school, even though I was with Jamal, I was always attracted to Sean. He was like my forbidden fruit, yummy and sweet.

FLASHBACK

Our relationship turned totally different one night. I got into a huge argument with Jamal about my suspicions of him cheating. When I got home, I didn't do anything but cry. I was finally drifting off to sleep when I got a call from Sean. It was actually about homework, but I just ended up crying on the phone again and telling him everything that happened. Next thing I know, he was sneaking through my window with a Wendy's bag and a pint of mocha walnut ice cream. We just sat and watched Frankie and Alice on Netflix. I fell asleep on his shoulder and he laid us down. He played in my hair and I giggled.

"You don't deserve this, Kat. I wish you weren't with that asshole. Because I would sure as hell cuff you." he whispered in my ear. On impulse, I turned around and kissed him. I didn't regret it one bit. We tossed and turned all throughout the bed all night. We both ended up skipping school the next day.

END OF FLASHBACK

He was checking his phone with one hand in his pocket. His hair was twisted underneath a "Australian" hat. he was wearing a plain white t-shirt, khaki joggers, and Nike Storms. He took a look up from his phone and bit his lip, walking toward me. I automatically started to blush, his fine ass starting with me already. I bit my lip as he pulled me into his warm embrace, his hands moving lower and lower.

"Don't you have a movie to catch?" I asked, pulling away slowly

"Wooow... that's the first thing you gonna say to a nigga?" he laughed, letting his dimples show. I laughed and shook my head no.

"My bad. But what's been up with you?" I asked, looking up at his face. I bit my lip, cursing at myself for answering the text. This man has been there when I needed him. We had a great night of passion in high school, way better than Jamal. But, knowing him, he's gonna want that again and I'm engaged. I just can't.

"Kat!" he semi-yelled. I jumped at his voice, causing him to chuckle at me.

"Did you hear anything I just said?" he grinned

"Nope, I ain't even gonna front." I giggled. He touched my burning cheek and stroked it gently.

"Damn, I missed that. Amongst other things. But, what's been up with you, girl?" he asked

"Oh... I'm a mother now." I said. He looked at me with his sparkling devious eyes.

"Oh, word? That's what's up. A boy or girl?"

"A girl. Her name is Bellah Jefferson and she's 4 months." I smiled, just thinking about her.

"I ain't know Jefferson was your last name, ma." He said scratching his chin.

"It's her dad's last name."

"Well, wassup with that? Y'all together or sum?" he asked flirtatiously. I pushed my hair back from my shoulders, showing off my engagement ring. His yes widened in surprise and amusement.

"Oh, snap! My girl all 'cuffed up' now! But, lemme tell you sum real quick." he said, bending down to my ear.

"Even though you 'cuffed', I can take you from him- whoever the nigga is- in the blink of his eye. Don't forget that. Now I gotta go catch my movie. You'll be hearing from me later tonight." he kissed my cheek, his lips landing at the corner of my mouth. I gasped quietly and he laughed while he speed walked to his theater. I smacked my forehead.

How could my ass be so stupid? He never stopped wanting me...  Aggravated with myself, I walked toward the theater just in time the first preview started.
