After i got the strength to stand back up, i went into the kitchen to talk to dad, but he was outside, so i yelled "dad do you want some pancakes or something?" he smiled at me and nodded his head, then covered his phone speaker and asked if i could make a few extra as he was expecting someone over, i nodded then winked at him. I knew who was coming over.. and so do you..
i ran into the kitchen and grabbed everything i needed, and began making the pancakes.
i finished the last one when there was a knock on the door and dad was still in the back, so i wiped my hands because little secret, i can be a bit clumsy sometimes.. i know..i know.. its something i need to work on.. but any who, i answered the door, and seen a very tall man staring down at me. "hello sir" i mumbled, just slightly terrified of this man, "hello, is Dean around?" i smiled and calmed down, this wasn't some random man, it was my dad's stalker on Facebook. You know the one that he came home smiling about, "yes he is, come on in" and with that i opened the door and let him in and showed him into the kitchen, he was about to take his shoes off "no no, you don't have to do that, you don't have to proper here, oh and i just finished breakfast, so if you like pancakes, please help yourself" he smiled and grabbed a few as i went to get my dad, " hey daddy, your 'man' is in there eating my food" he laughed and walked into the house and when he saw who it was his eyes instantly lit up and a huge smiled formed on his face. " hey Mitch" Mitch? i like that name, and so my does my dad.
Dad looked at me and said " i'm sure my daughter didn't introduce herself, that's Rain, Rain that's Mitch" i smiled at him and he smiled back at me. and with that i left the kitchen and went up to my room.
* A few hours later*
Ellie texted me and asked if i could meet her at the park where we first met, i went down and asked dad "hey dad, can i take the car and go to the park?" he looked up and threw me the keys, "be safe and try not to hit anyone okay?" i laughed and walked out the door. i met her at the swings and hugged her, but when i went to let her go, she pulled me closer and by the fact that my shoulder was getting wet, she was crying. I gently cupped her face and wiped away every tear that fell. After she was finished i pulled her close and didn't let go until she did. "babe, what happened?" she looked at me tear filled eyes and said " mom gave me permission to get you a promise ring,but she told me how stupid it would be because dad still doesn't know. so.. i told him and he said some hurtful things, but he said that he was sorry and that he'll try to accept it." i looked at her with compassion and pulled her close and then asked " why the tears baby girl?" she slightly smiled and said they were happy tear, sorry if i worried you" i shook my head smiling as i thought to my self "heheh i cant wait til later" i pulled my phone out and texted her mom and my dad asking if she could stay, they both agreed, her mom loves me, and dad loves her so.. it works.
"hey baby, would you like to stay with me tonight?"
she smiled "yes i love to!!!!" "okay, well. i texted dad and mom and they don't care, so do you need anything from your house?" she shook her head, and she couldn't stop smiling. It was the cutest thing ever!!!! We sat at the park for a few more hours talking and ranting, then we got into the car, got home and called it a night.
