Stydia AU. They are still in high school but Lydia and Stiles are not best friends, not even close friends. Just two people who are in the same group and start to feel a certain way for each other.
Sorry I couldn't write anything before! I've been really busy with exams and homework.
Hope you like this!-
She likes him. That's really clear and she's not gonna mess up again. Its okay, because she can like him as much as she wants. It's not bad to like someone, not at all. She knows what she has to do. She has to get closer to him, become friends, or maybe just try and talk to him. I mean- That would be a nice place to start.
It's a friday afternoon, the pack had said that they would organize something for saturday, maybe just meet up at a restaurant, go to the beach. She doesn't really know herself, but she'll see when she gets there.
Lydia lies on her bed. looking up to the ceiling. She stays still, arms over her tummy, legs just stretched out the same way her whole body is.
Her phone rings.
Lydia jumps and puts her bare feet on the floor. She moves over to the other sound of the room to get her phone, still ringing.
"Yes?" She says.
"Lydia! Gosh you took a while to answer that." Alison's voice relaxes her.
"I'm sorry. I'm just not feeling okay. I'm not sure I want to go to that thing tomorrow." Lydia knows that won't work on Alison, but she tries.
"Yeah right. Honey, its okay. Nothing bad is gonna happen. We always hang out during break times so why not outside school? Nothing's gonna be different. Well yeah, just the fact that you two will end up together by the end of tomorrow. Scott has talked to him, and he's probably as nervous as you. And that's good! Because then it'll be like starting from scratch. So don't worry about it okay? I need to leave, I'll text you later to see how you're doing. I love you."
"Alison, what would I do without you! Love you too." Lydia smiles. She's still nervous, but more excited that anything else.
Alison sends a kiss through the phone and Lydia ends the call. She then rushes downstairs.

She needs the perfect dress. Even though she knows that whatever she wears he's gonna like and compliment, as he always does.
Lydia stands in front of her Mom's wardrobe. She touches and examines every dress, but they're all either too big, or not her style. She remembers the Lydia Martin she used to be, bossy, a little insecure though. But now, she loves herself the way she should, and just thinking about that makes her realize why she likes him. He's patient, he's always been. He's nice, well mannered. Funny, oh he so is funny! And adorable. He's definitely adorable.
She can't help but smile at the thought, and just before it has dissapeared, she touches something hidden behind the dresses. She removes the rest and pulls it out, looking at it closely.
It's beautiful.
Lydia looks at the dress the same way shes done with the others. She goes upstairs to her room and tries it on.
It fits perfectly.
White floral sundress, it tightens at her waist and opens up to stop just above her knee. She loves the shape, she loves the little flowers on it, how they spread across the whole piece of cloth. The colours, the orange and the pink, how they stand out on the white background.
