19. Why So Early?

Next day..
We were having the games period. Everyone was busy playing either Soccer or Basketball. Except for me and Peter. We were sitting together on the grassy land, with cool breeze touching us gently. He held my hands and looked at me.
"By the way, which place are you shifting?" I asked him.
"Toronto."
I was speechless. He is moving to another country?
"No Pete please, don't go. I love you! You are flying to another country?Tell me you are joking." I stood up and started shouting resulting in breaking of the silence.

He got up and without speaking a single word, he hugged me. A tight hug. We both were crying. He then whispered in my ears,"I love you too. And my flight is on nineth of October"
"No.NO! Today is nineth. NO PLEASE!" I again shouted and pushed him aside.
"Nance..." he tried to calm me down. But I was unable to hold myself.
"Peter no!"
"Stay strong my girl." he said this and hugged me again. I was locked in his arms.
"I want the time to freeze." I said. I was panicking.
And then he asked me if he could kiss me. Without replying him I kissed him.
I thought It was our last kiss.

And later, in the evening, I went to a little get-together organized by Pete at his place. I was sad.
We were together for the whole time.
And then we went to the airport to drop him. His flight was at 11:00pm. I didn't get up from the car and so, he came to me. I started crying.
He kissed me on my cheeks and whispered, "Goodbye my girl. I'll miss you. Just stay strong. And yes, I love you."
I started crying even more and said, "Why so early? I love you too. Don't go Pete..."
"Ah! Smile."
"I can't."
"For me?"he said and so I smiled for him with tears flowing down.
"Bye!"He said to all of us as he went inside the airport.
"Bye Pete!" we all said together and we waved our hands.

'why so early?huh?why so early?' I mumbled.
