16.Edward's Birthday Party

So finally I was getting ready for Edward's Birthday Party. Usually I don't take much time to get ready. But this time, believe it or not...I took around One hour! *Really?WELL YEA!*
My father dropped me there.

"Hey Nancy!"Stacy called me. I joined Ash and Stace. And they were about to meet Kate who was in a gift store.
"You coming with us, right?"Ash asked me.
"Yup!"

We reached there. After standing for about five minutes there, I whispered to ash, "Can't they just turn on the A.C?"
"Yeah I know right, it is too hot here. I want to leave this place. What about you?" she asked waving her hand like a handfan.
"Yea me too. Let's leave then. Kate and Stace will join us at the party itself. What say?" I asked her.
"Sure. Hey Kate we're leaving for the party. You won't mind right?" Ash asked Kate.
"Sure! I wouldn't mind. Bye." she permitted us.

As we left the store my mobile rang.
'I wanna stay Up all...' It was Peter. I picked up the call.
"Hey Nance where are you?"
"I am about to reach. We are near Hotel Lords." I answered him.
"Okay wait I am about to join you guys."
"Okay we're waiting." I said and we hung up the call.
As soon as I turned at Ash. I got scared. Why? Oh because she was standing making a poker face. And then she mumbled, "Yes!the plan is working as Lily and I planned."
"You okay?"I asked her.
"What?Umm..yes.." she paused and shouted "Oh!there he comes!"

I turned back and there he was with Rose in his hands.
"For you.You look amazing today."he gave me the rose.THE RED ROSE!
I accepted the rose and thanked him.

We were about to reach when suddenly Ash stopped and said, "Perfect!"
"What is perfect?" I asked her curiously.
"The place is just perfect for you guys to..."
"To?" Peter asked him with his eyes wide open.
"To HUG!"
"ARE YOU CRAZY?" we both (Peter and I) shouted together. Afterall, it was so awkward for a new couple to hug just like that in the public.
"No!I can't." I spoke. While Peter was standing speechless.
After a one minute silence I spoke again, "Okay let's do this."
I finshed my statement. We both (Peter and I) started to come close. My heartbeats were getting faster and faster as if They are having an Olympics Race inside. We could feel our breaths as we had a distance of about one step between us.
And there we go. We were now hugging each other. I could feel his breath near my ears.

"Woohoo!"Ash exclaimed, "I got to tell about this stuff to Lily. Yes it was a plan. Lily and I planned this."

We were now apart.
"What?"I asked.
"Actually I promised Lily that I'll make you guys hug. So now the mission is accomplished."
"Woah! that was amazing." Peter exclaimed.
And I ran towards Hotel New Orleans. The place where the party was going to held.

Each time I looked at him, either he used to smile and blush or I used to do the same.
It was quite sure that both of us were blushing hard.
