Part Four- WHAT?

What?

Oh God! Please don't tell me Taani is speaking to some creep!

When I descended down my stairs I was listing off names of people who visit my house.

"Taani! Who's there? ", I asked.

" Roo.... "

" WHAT? I mean ummm.. Taani could you please come here for a minute? "

I was shocked to see him here. Why's he here? How'd he know where I live? What's he doing here? Has Taani spoken to him before?
So many questions started flooding my brain and I couldn't control my confused mind. Relax Roohi. Just RELAX.

Till now I guess you would have guessed who was at my door.
Oh yes. You are right.
Rohan freaking Malhotra.

"Roohi. Rohan was here to give us sweets ", Taani rolled her eyes at me.

" Sweets? What are you saying? Please tell me why's he here. I'm so confused! Do you know him? How could you, you don't you'd told me in the morning..... "

" Stop. Shhh. Listen to me Rooh! "

" What?", I whisper yelled.

"He is your next door neighbor. Chill your heart Rooh. His mom probably forced him to distribute sweets to all neighbors. So it's not as if he is stalking you or anything. "

" But Taani, he could have come with his parents or something. Why did he come alone? Is he here to tease me or make me fall again? That jerk, I'm not going to leave him. "

" Rooh, what's wrong with you? He just came to do that good naturedly. And I'm sure he didn't know that you stay here. Stop holding grudge against people you don't know. Stop assuming things. It's alright. "

" Taa.. "

" God! Rooh, just shut up and come with me out. That poor guy might be feeling awkward to stand in the doorway all alone. And anyways, who cares? He's hot and that's what counts. "And she winked at me.

This girl is a lost case. She's too much obsessed with boys.
I trailed behind Taani to the drawing room. Rohan was, as Taani said standing awkwardly not knowing what to do or say.

" Hey ", I said.

He looked up from the floor and stared at me. After few seconds he nodded his head and smiled at me. And said," Oh, Miss Clumsy stays here. "

And ladies and gentlemen, then jerk is back. Gone is the guy who looks up and gives a genuine smile.

" Yes. I'm the Clumsy one and what are you? The bulldozer ? Because it looks like you do a part time job of colliding and knocking off people without apologising. "

" Haha. Very funny, very funny. "

I gave him a death glare and was about to throw one more sarcastic punch his way when Taani interrupted.

" Umm guys ", said Taani. Could you please behave civil and as responsible citizens?"

"Shut it Taani. And shut the door too. After throwing him out though. "

" You little... "started Rohan.

" Get lost dude", said I and left to go to my room.

My life sucks officially.
