Three more hours before I get to see my grandma!! Oh, I just got a text from Dean. It says.. " Idk if I will be able to see you before you leave bc Mr.Edwin is keeping me here late. Who knows when I'll get out." Now I'm sad because I really wanted to see him before I left. Oh well, thats not the least of my worries. My grandma lives in Famines, Illinois. Which is three and a half hours away. My mom said I have fifteen minutes untill we leave. It is time to pack. Okay let's see... clothes, pajamas, toothbrush, shoes, phone, charger, laptop, and my favorite quilt. And now I'm in the car, so the beginning of my summer starts....now!
In the car I just plug in my ear phones, and listen to music. My mom is going on and on about how I need to spend time with grandma, and not stare into my electronics all summer. I'm literally just blocking her out, but she doesn't have to know that. I don't fall asleep all the way, but I kind of start to doze off in a whole nother world. I am just thinking about how all summer It's going to be just me and grandma. No worries, distractions, and no homework. I am going to miss Dean. I hope he has a good summer. I kinda worry about him, I mean he hasn't texted me back in three hours. Speaking of three hours, that means we only have a half hour before summer really starts.
My dad, Josh Marshel, was born on December 24, 1975. He died at age 38, December 24, 2013. I miss him so much. I don't really know where all this came from, I just thought I would talk more about me. My birthd- "We're here!" my mom exclaimed. Okay I'll be back soon.
I opened the door and there she was, my grandma. "Come on in sweety. Ready to have the best summer ever?" she welcomed me. I gave her a big hug. "I hope so."
