I was slowly walking down the hallway to my class. Careful not to make eye contact with anyone. It was the first day of school so of course everyone was lost. But because I'm a 10th grader I wasn't.
I got a few stares occasionally. Why do they still look at me? I thought. They know that I don't talk much so why do they continue to stare?
As I was walking down the hallway I barely noticed that I was looking down til I bumped into someone.
"Oh I'm so-"
"You idiot why-"
I started walking backwards and tripped.
On what exactly? I don't know...
There was a weird look of emotion on his face but it is was gone to soon for me to to tell. Then his face became hard again.
I stood up and brushed off my clothes. I started to walk away when he grabbed me. I then looked in the person's eyes and saw that it was the school bad ass. This sent shivers up and down my spine.
I jumped back and ran away as fast as I can. I looked back and saw that he was still standing there. So I slipped into the nearest classroom as fast I can.
Apparently class has started...? I began to look around the room. I then looked down at my schedule.
Wow.... What a coincidence... This was my first period. I did a once over of all the students.
It seemed safe then.
Then the door flew open. I turned around to see who it was. It was him. Was he following me or something?
I started backing away some. When he said-
"Relax princess this is my first class too"
Then he smirked.
He smirked at me.
It took everything in me to not roll my eyes at him. This guy is seriously confusing.
Instead of saying what I was thinking I decided to just find a place to sit down. I turned around and saw two empty seats and they were right next to each other.
Wow. Just my luck.
It was bad enough the whole classroom was staring at me. Some with disgust looks on there face, some with faces that meant they thought I was a freak, some that looked at me like I just made my life a living hell.
That's exactly what it felt like too...
That I had just made my life a living hell for this school year.
As I was walking to my seat in the classroom I thought...
I'm in for a looonngggg year.
