The wind rattled the trees awake and snook through the gaps around Leon's hoodie. He shivered and pulled his jacket closer. His black short hair was hidden by his hood. Leaves crunched beneath his feet as he made his way down the forest path. Birds chirped and you could see squirrels hopping from tree to tree. It was peaceful, cold, but quite. Leon sighed and came to a clearing beside a stream. He sat down on one of the logs placed around the used looking fire that currently had nothing burning.
Leon sat there and thought of everything that happened that year. He was a senior in Highschool who just graduated and everyone was splitting up. His little group. His little click.
Marra was going to a college in Alabama. Tony was going to Tennessee. Tani was heading back to her hometown somewhere in Utah. And Kevin was going to Florida.
Leon say and started remembering there place. There little place in the woods were they could be them without judging eyes. He remembered all the sleepovers they had here, the times they went swimming, even how they found this little place.
Then he remembered today. The present.
Were everyone was separating, living their own new lives. He sighed again. He'll see them again soon... He hopes. Hours flew by and as he remanced in the peace and quite.
He stood and walked back through the woods.
Scared for his future and friends and his new life at college.
