Tick Tock

Tick tock,tick tock
Around and around
Tick tock, tick tock
The clock does not stop

A little girl of the age of 7 walked down a wet street in England. She wore a bright red rain coat and was hopping her way to see her mother. She turned a corner onto a dirt path and began skipping her way down the path, her blond pigtails bouncing as she went.
She suddenly stopped and turned on her rainbooted heal and plopped to the ground, sitting criss crossed in front of a pile of dirt.

"Hello Mummy!"
Silence lingered around her...
"In sorry I didn't visit yesterday, grandma wouldn't let me go out in the rain. How have you been? Grandma said you were probably singing in the cloud kingdom again...is it fun?"

As the little girl talked to her mother hours went by.

"Oh pooey look at the time, I have to go now mummy, oh! And say hi to daddy for me!"
And with that the little blonde girl jumped up and began running her way back to grandmas house.

The little girl had never been so confused as she walked through the front door to not receive the usual
"Welcome back deary!"
The little girl tore through the house...
She walked through the kitchen,
Everyone's bedrooms,
Even the bathrooms,
But no one responded to the little girl in the red raincoat. She ran back to the living room and threw her self onto the coach as her bright blue eyes began to tear. She pulled her knees to her chest and began to cry harder by the minute.

Suddenly the door swung open and a man wairing a police officer outfit walked in.
"Are you Marie?"
He asked as he walked over and sat down next to the girl.
She looked up and nodded her head.
"Where's grandma and grandpa?"
She asked as tears started flowing from her eyes once more. He could only look at her with soreful eyes.
"Your grandma and grandpa went to heaven Marie"
He said in a whisper like voice.
"You mean the kingdom in the sky? Where mommy and daddy are?"
She asked as she sniffed.
He only slowly nodded his head and picked up the girl as she leaned on his shoulder and began to cry....

Years have passed since then....
