The Little Sheepcat

Once upon a time in a far off land in the clouds called Veilandia, lived a sheepcat named Tony. Now, a sheepcat is a sheep is a sheep with the head, feet and tail of a cat. Veilandia was full of sheepcats! Now, Tony had a huge heart with so much love to give but, unfortunately, no one liked him. Tony was the smallest of all the sheepcats and was constantly bullied.

    The main bully was the biggest and baddest of all the sheepcats, Mike. Tony tried all he could to stay out of mike’s way but, somehow Mike always appeared to push Tony to the ground and make fun of him. Mike and his gang would always laugh in Tony’s face as they left.

    Victor, Tony’s best friend, was always there to help him up. He would walk Tony back to his house and then go hang out with his other friends. Tony hated his life so much that, every night, he cried himself to sleep.

    One morning, Tony walked outside to hear the other sheepcats yelling. Tony made his way over to see what all the noise was about. It turns out one of the younger sheepcats, Jaime, was stuck under his house.

    “Tony!” Victor called as he ran towards Tony. “Tony, we need your help!” He exclaimed. “Why me?” Tony wondered. Just as Victor was about to answer, Mike ran up. Tony cowered in fear, fearing the worst. “Tony, we really need your help! You’re the only one who can fit under the house!” Tony was surprised that everyone suddenly wanted and needed him. Soon, the crowd started to chant his name. Tony agreed and dropped to his stomach, beginning to crawl under the house.

     Tony looked up from all the dust to see a scared Jaime. Tony moved closer, talking to Jaime in calm manner. Jaime looked at Tony and smiled, trying to crawl towards Tony. Tony reached out his paw to the younger sheepcat, grabbing onto him. Tony then started to crawl backwards, bringing Jaime with him.

     Tony finally made it out, returning Jaime to his mother. Everyone cheered and praised him. A group of strong sheepcats, including Mike and his gang, lifted the smaller sheepcat up and started chanting his name. All Tony could do was smile because, for once in his life, Tony felt loved.
