"Hey wanna come to the beach. with us?" Eleanor asks grabbing her swimsuit from the drawer.
"Sure why not? I have nothing better to do then spend the day with Mr.Popular," I say standing up
"Hey be nice," Eleanor says
"Sorry but I'll be nice when he is," I say
"Molly seriously this happened three years ago LET IT GO!" she says
"Let it go? You want me to let it go? He ruined my high school experience picking on me teasing me calling me nerd geek and band geek. He was so mean I cant trust him!" I yell
"Wow. I'm sorry I didn't realise it was that bad. All you said wad he just was a bully," she says
"I don't think that should've needed any explanation," I snap
I grab my swimsuit out of my drawer and go into the bathroom to change into it. Its a bikini with a top that has the straps coming out of the middle from a little circle cut out of it. The bottom a little skirt.
"Well that's sexy," a male voice says as I walk out of the bathroom.
I look up to see Eleanor Louis and Harry staring at me.
"Shut up," I say rolling my eyes
Eleanor looks at him pointedly and loops arms with me and skips with me down to Louis' car. We climb into the back seat while the boys sit up front. Harry watches me in the mirror in the sun visor.
"You realise I can see that? And I know your staring because you've had it open for ten minutes and haven't done anything," I say
He looks at me and I see the embarrassment and the anger from having me call him out. He slams the mirror lid down and slams the visor up and slumps down looking out the window. Eleanor looks at me and smiles. Louis gives her a quizical look in the rearview mirror and she responds with one saying she'll explain later.
When we get to the beach I grab my bag and walk aways away from the little crowd that has accumulated on the beach. I lay my towel down and spray my sunscreen on and lay down. I close my eyes against the brightness of the sun. But it doesn't last long because its quickly covered by a person standing in the way. I open my eyes and see Harry standing over me.
"What are you staring at?" I ask
"A cow in a swimsuit that's what!" he snaps. He bends down and grabs the soccer ball (football for American readers) and runs over to where Louis is standing.
I choke back the tears and pull my hair into a ponytail. I fix my swimsuit top and stand up to fix the bottoms. I look over and see Harry looking between me and the ball. I smirk to myself. I have him right where I want him.
I slowly start walking towards the water and feel Harry's eyes on me. When deep enough into the water I dive in and come back up pushing my hair out of my face. Harry still watching, mouth gaping. I smile and walk slowly out of the water and over to him.
"Close your mouth you'll catch horse.flies with your mouth open that far," I say
"The only way horse.flies would be around me is because they're looking for you," he says
"At least I don't smell like I don't live in a barnyard," I say
"At least I don't have a gut hanging over my swim pants," he says with a smirk.
I gasp and reach up to slap him but he grabs my hand and pulls me close.
"Fatso," he says quietly and quickly brushes his lips to mine before releasing me and letting me go.
I storm back to my towel and pull my cover up over myself and lay there trying to hide the tears. What mess have I gotten myself into? Instead of cowering like I normally do I'm just setting myself up for more pain from Harry. And I cant handle that. Not after the last time.
