her phone is now dead and have been for the past hour or so, she couldn't be sure now anyway as minutes feels like hours, her feet are hurting with every step she takes and the sun is making her skin hot and sweaty, lucille has long since abandoned her sweater on the side of the road a few miles back, so now her milky white skin is completely exposed to the heating sun.

it had been a sad moment when she realised that it was her favorite sweater she had left behind, her eyes had started to burn with tears that she wouldn't let fall, because she knows that extra weight is not what she needs, not when she doesn't even know how long she is going to walk for.

lucille had passed a small town not long ago, she thought of staying there for a bit, because it had seemed nice and quiet, but in the end she had seen no reason to.

she thank herself now, looking up at the sky she figures the time must be just around 6 or 7, by how the sun is setting on the still clear blue sky, there are no clouds and there haven't been all day, only the brightly burning sun.

the sun won't set for a few hours but lucille doesn't have a plan, she has nowhere that she can go.

as soon as it starts to get dark, the sun makings its way down past the close sitting trees and the sky turning a deep pink and orange colour. lucille start singing lowly, her soft and gentle voice has a sharp tone to it, she sings a children's lullaby spilling out the words oddly serious. her face reads sorrow, her mouth is turned down and her eyes are casted to the ground, her cheeks are read and they feel numb, her whole body looks heavy and like she is going to collabs any minute.

suddenly she can hear a car coming her way, the reminding of how she looks and might appear to others sends her into a form of shock, hoping the car will just drive past her without looking back. the words stop coming out of her and she sucks in a deep breath before holding it there. it makes her chest feel tight and the air wants to escape, her lungs burn as they need new air but lucille doesn't let up, she doesn't let go of the air trapped in her before she can see the car is long ahead of her, and when she is sure that it's totally gone first then she opens her mouth, letting all the air and small coughs out holding a fist to her chest.

"I don't believe in good nor evil, I basically believe that people are people and nothing else, we make mistakes and we take some decisions, they can be good or bad but I don't think our intentions are good or evil, we just do what we believe in without hesitations.

there is a reason for all that happens in the world , that's what I believe and we will all get what's best for us.

those guys who took their own lives, maybe that was the way it had to go and maybe they are somewhere better now, we are still allowed to be sad, and yeah I think it's sad too because sure everyone has the right to a good life, but those people didn't have one and they just like me, didn't believe they could get one." Lucille mumbles to herself.

She has never lived in any other town then the one she grew up in, never really visited any at all really, but she would rather be lost alone then have to go everyday with a mask and a life that makes her wish nothing is real.

"why do I have to live in a world with humans that can disgust me so much, I'm supposed to look at them everyday and take what they are saying seriously. they have taken love and made it something so filthy that I want nothing to do with it. not only them, but my generation too has destroyed something that was the closes thing to magic that we had, now they use love as a way to feel self-satisfied, to sex and to feel like a part of something because they are afraid to be on their own" she doesn't say it outloud this time, keeping the thought in her head and stay in her head it does, she didnt know she thought like that before she said it to herself, the thought of love and why she despise it so much had always been a mystery to herself, had always thought it was just because.

She had seen it so many times, seen how they abuse something because they have no idea how it should be treated.

Maybe she isn't the best to judge, since she has never felt love from another human being, well other than her family when she was younger, but that loved had blown away over time.

she started to think about her brother and that she had left him with their mother, not that anything was wrong with her mom, she had just stopped caring.

While Lucille was caught up in her head, she didn't realise that a car had come up from behind her and was now driving slowly by her side. the passenger window was rolled down and the horn was pressed down so a loud noise came out, Lucille gave a small jump and turned to look at the car with wide eyes.

Her reflection was clear in the cars clean black colour, she could see how exhausted and beat she looks, how her eyes were puffy and red with unshed tears, Lucille doesn't dare look up from her reflection, she's very close to turning around and running down where the car can't reach her, but instead she looks looks up despite her fear and is met with four pair of eyes looking back at her, she lets out a yelp and swallows thickly.

this is truly unexpected.
