Althea stopped near the condiment station and looked at them. David saw her as he was facing towards the entrance.He looked at her like he was not surprised and whispered to jade.
She let go of David quickly and turned around.. She saw Althea and hurriedly walked where she was standing. Her eyes gleams,she was too afraid that Althea might not listen to her explanation. Nervous and cold, jade hold her hands and said
" lab? What you saw, the hug...it was nothing but an intimate friendship hug. You know that his like my bestfriend eversince..."
Althea did not answered right away..
"So, if I didn't went here to have coffee with batchi and wila, I would never know that David already came back...." She said
Jade smiled " I know, I was surprised to see him here too. Though, jasmine already told me he came back already.." Jade stopped because she realized that she forgot to mentioned about jasmine and David to Althea,that they knew each other.
" good, you never told me about that. And I'm glad I came by so that you'll never had to hide about seeing him here too.." Althea sounded fallacious at the moment. She was jealous inside.
" I'm sorry ... Can we talk in the house please. I'll explain everything. Let me say good bye to David first." Jade tried to calm down since there are people who was listening near them and looking at them like they were criminals. She turned around and talked to David..
" David, it was really nice to meet you again but I have to go." Jade said.
" was she jealous at me? I'm really sorry. I'm on my way to the gym too, so see you soon jade." David replied.
" just a misunderstanding... Thanks David. See you"

As soon as he said goodbye to David, she grabbed her coffee but Althea was not there anymore. Her car was gone in the parking area. So she called her..
And called her again for the fourth time but there was no answer. So she texted her that she will see Althea at home and talk.

She parked her car and went straight to the gate...checked the house, but Althea was not there.. She tried to call again but her phone was off. So instead of finding Althea, she just waited at home.. Miggy will be off to school too after few hours so it will be better if she stayed..
She cuddled jazz and said..
" I hope your mommy will understand baby.." Then sighed.

On the other hand, Althea went out to batchi and wila in a bar. She drank some liquors.
" seriously batchi, how come she didn't told me about it? If David really means nothing to her, she doesn't have to hide that." She was a bit tipsy.
" tsong! What you saw in the coffee shop needs an explanation, listen to jade first. Don't judge.. What if they just met there accidentally like what she said? " batchi tried to reversed it into positivity.
" how about jasmine , how come she knew David? So that means she's the bridge?" Althea sounded bitter...
" you know what? You don't think straight! Tsong, you don't know what happened. Jade asked you to talk in the house earlier. But where are you now? In the bar! Come on. Your lucky she's that kind." Batchi tried to explained it to Althea.
" I'm afraid batchi.." Althea said
" come on pangga, let's take this crazy girl home now. " wila said and took Althea's arms.

Althea did come with them. So they dropped them off the house.
When she entered the gate, miggy ran carrying jazz with him.
" mama! Your home your home! Mommy jade cooked something for dinner, but I already ate cos mommy told me to eat and sleep early so I'll grow up handsome. Hehe" miggy excitingly told her.
" baby, I'm sorry I cam home late. Promise, I'll cook for you tomorrow.i love you." Althea said.
" it's okay mama. Ma, I'll go to my room now cos I still have homework to do and mommy jade said you need to talk too. I love you mama goodnight." Miggy said and kissed her mom.
" sure son,I'll check your homework later okay. Goodnight baby" she kissed her son and hugged him tight.
When miggy went to his room, Althea went to the kitchen to drink water. Jade was not there..but when she came back in the living room, she was already sitting in the couch and smiled at her.
" lab, let's talk...I know that you want to know. I just want to clarify all the things you saw." Jade said
Althea sighed, went to the other couch and sit. " okay, I'll listen if you want to talk. But I just want to let you know that I'm not really in the mood for some explanation right now. But go ahead." She said it like its not Althea talking, she was a bit drunk and her heart was filled with bitterness.
Jade was surprised and hurt of what she said.
" Wow. It makes no sense if I'm up her explaining and your not absorbing it. Althea what's wrong with you? I've never seen you like this before. It's a small thing and your making it big." Jade was a bit dismayed. She was teary.
" small or big, still it's a problem jade.what i can't understand is why you still have to see David without even telling me earlier since you already knew he was here right." Althea told her.
" oh my god Althea. It was not intentionally planned, that's what I've been trying to say. We saw each other accidentally and we talked. He was like my best buddy ,ever since we were small he was already my friend and I can't just threw away our friendship in just a snap. There were bad memories between him, you and me but it was all set right? I tried to forget those horrible past.We are free to love each other Althea." Jade explained.
" okay, I've never been with you that long compared to him and I never said you'll throw away your friendship." She sighed and added
"it was easy for you to say that. Easy for you to forget, I can't forget those pain and heartbreaks jade,Until now. yes I forgave them But the trauma remains and it still haunts me sometimes in my dreams. That's why When I saw you and David earlier, it brought me back to the past,Horrible past. Just let me know the plans you have while it's still early,i don't want to risk myself , my son and my life again."Althea was a little high pitched.
Jade was floored of what she heard. She felt the heat on her face running .she was still trying to calm down.
" are you still thinking that I might leave you one day?I have plans, but it's not for david, it's for us Althea. Trust me . Please don't dwell on that past." Jade looked her straight in the eyes.
Althea was never calm. Maybe it was the alcohol she drank that made it worst.
She didn't respond to jade and stood up.
But before she could walk out, jade stood up too and said
" I think you need more rest and sleep Althea. I'll be back when your heads cool already "
Jade step forward on the way out the house and drove her car without letting Althea
