Althea and jade were standing near the gate waiting for gab to open it..
Then few seconds after, gab open the gate for them
" shobe I'm glad your here already..and althea too.." Gab said..
" ahia, where's the ambulance? " jade asked.
" it's coming over.. I just don't know what happened to her. She fainted,i don't know how and how long cos when I got here, she was on the floor already and I can't leave our son alone since both our maids are on day off.." He explained
Then the ambulance came..they got pearl covered ang gab went together with pearl...
" shobe and Althea? I will meet you at Luke's okay?Just wait outside the emergency room." Gab said.
" okay ahia..we will be there." So both of them followed the ambulance car..
" I still have to call dada and mama lab"  jade said while driving..
" do you want me to call instead? Your driving..." Althea offered.
" okay babe, tell them that pearls in the hospital, and I am driving so you called." She explained.
" copy lablab" Althea said and dialed the phone.
"Hello Tita Amanda? It's me altheA.." She said
" oh hi Althea.. Why did you called? Something happened?" She asked.
" unfortunately.. Yes tita. Pearl fainted, gab doesn't know what happened, so he called us. we had the ambulance already so it's on the way to the hospital right now." She explained.
" oh my god! I will tell Oscar and we will be heading there as soon as possible.How about their son? My Munico hijo..where is he?" She asked.
" he is here at the back.. We are heading to st. Luke tita. Outside the emergency room.we will meet you there." She said.
" thank you Althea, so where's jade?"
" she's driving so I subbed..sorry " she said.
" okay, see you!" Then Althea dropped the phone and said
" lab..I hope pearls fine.. Don't faint like that lab, I'm gonna freak out." Althea smiled.
" I hope I can tell you before I'll faint so that you can catch me.." She smiled back
and said " we're here.. Shall we bring little gab .?" Jade asked.
" uhm..do you want me to stay here with him?" She said.
" hmmm just cover her nose lab...lets go." Jade replied.

When they got to the hospital, they ran directly outside the Emergency room and saw gab waiting for the doctor to come out.
" ahia! Are you okay?" Jade asked.
" I'm not sure shobe, I'm too nervous to know what happened to Pearl.i hope she's okay." Then he saw his son and grab him cos he was crying.
" thanks for carrying him Althea.." Gab said
"Oh it's nothing.. His too behave anyway.." Althea smiled.. Then she added.. I hope everything will be fine."
" thank you Althea." Gab smiled.

Few minutes later,Oscar and Amanda arrived..they asked gab about what happened and hugged their son. While jade and Althea sat down beside them.
Jade grabbed Althea's hand and tightly she holds and kissed it.
" are you okay lablab?" Althea asked
"yes.. I'm a bit nervous too..the warmth of your hands kept me relaxed.." She said.
Althea smiled and put her head on jades shoulder." Then I'll add my other hand to keep you more relaxed. I'll stay with you." She kissed jades hand..

Few hours after..
the doctor came out with the result..
" who is the husband? May I talk to you in private please?" The doctor asked.
So gab stood up, gave little gab to Amanda and Oscar first and walk with the doctor.
"So, what's wrong with Pearl doctor?" Gab asked.
" gab right? I will be straight forward okay? We have good and bad news here.So your wife Pearl was 2 and a half months pregnant..so congratulations for that.. The bad news is that, first she's anemic that's the main reason why she collapsed and second, when we checked her ultra sound result ..we saw a growing tumor in the ovary and it is not benign. Stage 2. So the sad part is, you have to choose or decide for this as a man and wife okay? If you keep the child, she will not have an operation but her life is in great danger and it's not a hundred percent that she could survive the labor and carrying the child  for nine months, we don't really know the flow of her tumor, all I knows that, it grows fast.but if she wants to live longer and take no risk, we will have to abort the child as soon as possible and undergo an operation. I am sorry, I don't like the choices either but I have to let you know. " the doctor explained.
Gab was not able to respond right away..
" uhm..that is so hard. I don't want to loose my wife but we are talking about taking the life of our child too..that is so hard." Gab was teary eyed.
" I understand mr. Tanchingco.. It is so hard, I'm sorry. We will need your decision in 48 hours. Here's the copy of her result, Pearl will be there in her room now..4629. If you'll excuse me mr. Tanchingco.." The doctor went back to the emergency room

Gab walked back to his family with a teary eyes..and when he saw his child..he cried at her mom and dads shoulder..jade and Althea were startled when they saw gab crying.

" son, tell us what happened?" Oscar asked..they were all waiting for gab to talk.
" mama ,dada, shobe..Althea. Pearl is 2 months pregnant.. " he stopped.
"'And was that supposed to be a tears of joy son? Cos it is a very good news."Amanda asked
"Ma ..I'm not yet done.she was pregnant but they saw a cancerous tumor in her ovary, so now we have to decide if we will abort the child and let Pearl live or choose the child but I might loose Pearl after and it's not a guarantee that she could take nine months to carry the child and have labor, she might give up nine months before. Oh god, help me.." Gab sobbed into his parents shoulder..

They were all shocked....jade couldn't say a word and just cried and so as amanda.. Althea was teary eyed and was about to cry. They hugged gab and comforted him.
" we will find a way son. The decision will still be yours but we will help you out okay?" Oscar said..
After a while, their Tito lucky and other Tito came  too..they comforted gab..

2 hours after..

Gab went to pearls room, she's already awake and smiled.
" gab? I don't really know what happened to me, all I remember is that I need to drink water cos I'm thirsty and it's all black. Where's little gab?"She explained.
"Sssshh.. It doesn't matter anymore babe.. Gab is with mom and dad.his alright.i have to tell you something. It's very important." He said.. He was so nervous and he tried not to cry.
So, gab explained to her their situation, he hold pearls hand cos he knew, she would cry...

" No! We can't abort our child. That's my decision gab..id rather die" Pearl said
" Pearl look.. It's not a hundred percent sure since  the tumor is in the ovary where the baby will grow.. I don't want to loose you okay? I don't want to loose the baby too but you are way more important to me.. Please..I need a mother to our son." He said

Pearl just cried ..." I will make it to nine months, I promise you that. I will not give up.okay?" She said.
" please Pearl, we can still make another baby but you, your the only one in my life.theres no other pear in this world..I can't live without you." He said it's his tears drooling.
" don't be so selfish okay? Parents job is to protect and sacrifice for their children.and that's what I'm doing gab..I love you more than you can imagine..but please, respect my decision. We will pray for a miracle. With God, everything's possible right?" Pearl said

" I don't know Pearl.." Gab walked out and cried..
