Nanami pov-
It was obvious that I should take mizuki to the date. So I headed towards the living room where everyone was and I asked mizuki "mizuki are you free next friday?"
Mizuki replied "yea sure but what do you want to do?" Nanami quickly responded "we are going on a double date with Kei and her boyfriend" mizuki opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by tomoe " you will not go on a double date with the snake" "eh? Why? He is also my familiar and I trust him." Nanami said. Tomoe seemed shocked when I said I trust mizuki.
Tomoe pov-
The words I trust him were repeated in my head. Did she not trust me. Why didn't she ask me. I'm not sure why but just the thought of seeing the snake with Nanami had me filled with rage and now he was going on a date with her. I growled at the thought of them together. She was my lady and mistress. She was mine. No one else can have her only me.
Nanami pov-
Tomoe seemed to be thinking of something I called out his name "earth to tomoe. Hello? Anyone there?" "huh oh hey Nanami" tomoe said sounding kind of sad. Mizuki broke the silence "so when is the date?" emphasising the word date
"Next Friday we will just be going out to get dinner so we will probably be back around 9 pm" Nanami said then seconds later she realized it was late and she yawned. She told her familiars that she was going to bed.
Within seconds of entering her room she plopped on her bed. Then she heard the snake and the fox fighting but she was to tired and not too long after she fell asleep.
Tomoe pov-
"Damn snake if you lay a finger on Nanami you are dead." tomoe told the snake. "What fox this is interesting why do you care if I go on a date with nanami? Is it because you have feelings for her?" mizuki said devilishly. "That is absurd. Yokai and human relationship are taboo. She is my lady and mistress that is all nothing more and nothing less." tomoe explained. "Okay so if your not jealous then you don't mind if I touch her hand or maybe hug her." mizuki told tomoe. "You shall not and will not lay a finger on nanami even if you are on a date" tomoe said with a hint of anger. "Okay well whatever happens happens you will not know what's going to happen because you will be at the shrine while me and Nanami go on a date." mizuki smirked. Freaking snake he knew how to push my buttons. I was getting annoyed with this conversation so I told mizuki that he should just protect Nanami. After I told him that I left to go to my room. Why was it that nanami asked mizuki and not me. Did she not see trust me because I know that she trusts him she was saying that mizuki was also her familiar and that she trusted him but I thought I relationship was stronger then her and that snake. I was getting a headache just thinking of it I decided that I should sleep it off. He fell asleep not to long after but there was one thing on his mind before he fell asleep
