(Dark Link's Pov)
The shadow groaned, his eyes remaining shut, was he still alive? He thought he would be dead by now... considering all the blood he's lost and how many times he's fell unconscious in the past couple days....He would have thought he would be dead by now...and actually, he kind of wished he Would have died. I mean, he has the weight of his only loved one, the one person who had ever cared for him, was in chains and maybe even dead by now... and only because he wasn't strong enough to keep that hylian jerk from hurting her... and well, all the rest of the hylian jerks... then it hit him, what he seen before he had fallen unconscious....and, now that he thought of it...What was that smell? Dark slowly opened his eyes and looked down at where the smell was coming from, his eyes widened and a loud yelp came from his mouth when he realized it... His hand was on fire, with a small bundle of sticks around it tied firmly with some vines. He stood to his feet quickly, waving his burning hand everywhere "OWOWOWOOW" Was the only words that came from his mouth until the fire was finally out. A small giggle like laugh could be heard from above, dark looked up only to see.... a rabbit? .... In a tree?... Soon after their eyes locked together in what would seem like a staring contest the rabbit thing jumped down from the tree and on top of dark. "A-ah!" dark said as he fell backwards, now with a giant purple rabbit on him. "hehe hehe hehe, the shadow boys awaakkee~" The rabbit said as he slid his hand down Darks side and right into his pocket, grabbing his wallet full of ruppees. "Hey! That's mine!" he reached up, only to have a sudden shock of pain run from his shoulder throughout his body. "oh, hey try not to move so much hehehe I didn't bandage your shoulder just for you to hurt it again" the rabbit giggled as he pulled down... His face? 0-0 wait.... No... It was a hood! Dark mentally slapped himself at his stupidity as he young purple haired kid fixed his hair, lifting up and off of dark. Dark sat back up, examining his perfectly bandaged shoulder "you did this, for me?... " he tilted his head only to get a small giggle from the other male "of coouurrssee, when I see my best friend in pain... I couldn't just walk by. Nice hair by the way, it's a lot cooler than the purple you used to have... And... You've gotten much taller shadow! " dark tilted his head more at what he said.. Shadow? He was Dark link... Not Shadow link. "Shadow? I've never had purple hair... Or have I grown any since I was ten..." The kid just looked at dark, his eyes slowly getting a sad tent to them "oh...." his once happy gaze trailed to the ground "sorry... I just thought..." Dark walked over and wrapped his arms around the smaller boy, hugging him "you thought I was your friend? Didn't you?" the rabbit boy busted into tears when he said the word "friend" and dark tightened his grip. "m-my friend d-died! He w-was killed when he was h-helping the four swords defeat Vaati!" the boy sniffed "I just thought.... Maybe it could have all been a lie... Maybe he could still be alive!" Dark almost teared up himself.. "well.... He could still be alive.... Don't give up hope just because you burned the wrong shadows hand" he earned a sad giggle from the boy. "May I know your name?" dark asked as he wiped away the tears off the boys face "R-Ravio.... I'm Ravio..." dark nodded "Where did you come from? And where are you headed?" the boy stuffed Darks wallet in his own pocket "I've come from that castles dungeon... I'm headed to try and find the man that (Y/N) belongs too.. Darks eyes widened as he gripped Ravios shoulder "you know where she is?!" Ravio whimpered softly making Dark loosen his grip "Yeah, well... Sort of... I overheard her conversation with that princess... I need to warn some guy about something" dark shook him by the shoulders "Me! She's mine! Where is she?! What's happening!? Is she okay?!" the smaller boy slapped a hand over Darks mouth "Calm down! What I needed to tell you was...."
