Firestar walked into the training hallow. "Yes Graystripe?" He asked his friend and clanmate. "I'm in love with another cat" Graystripe said. After losing both of his mates during there kitting. His first mate was a Riverclan cat named Silverstream, and than a couple of moons later,when the clans were moving due to the destruction of the forest, he met a rouge named Millie. It had been moons ago that she died and Graystripe has been devestated and depressed since. "Well tha-" Firestar started,but Graystripe interupted him, "It's Brambleclaw, your Deputy!" Graystripe exclaimed."WHAT?!?!" Firestar meowed in suprised. Brambleclaw was his daughters mate! '' But Brambleclaw's a male,and so are you!" Firestar said in exasperation."plus,he's about to father Squirrleflight's kits" he added silently in his head."Oh, what am I supposed to do Firestar?!? If Brambleclaw finds out he's bound to hate me,and if the whole clan finds out, they'll claw me to pieces and us my fur as lining for there bedding!!!" He meowed disparingly, sadlylooking down at his paws. Firestar felt bad for his friend, they had shared many hardships and adventures together,but this was something Graystripe had to do on his own.

Brambleclaw was leading the dawn patrol, placing scent markers on the borders. The patrol was currently at the Shadowclan border,when he heard hissing and spitting coming behind him. H turned to see that is was Cloudtail and Sandstorm were the one's making all the noise. "Great Starclan! What's wrong, you two made it sound like we were under attack!

We might as well be!" spat Cloudtail,his fur bristling,"SHADOW CLAN HAS CROSSED OUR BORDERS!!!
