"You Are Mine"

Chapter 3: Haylie vs. Ashley

WARNING! Not edited.

I lazily took a sip of my orange juice, chattering and giggling can be heard everywhere. We were all currently eating breakfast at a fast food restaurant across the hotel. Everyone was so happy when Mrs. Hayler announced she was paying.

One hour ago:

"No one will get out of the fast food restaurant hungry!" Mrs. Hayler announced. All of us cheered.

"And if you're still unsatisfied, I will drag you back to the restaurant and let you eat until you look like Garfield" We all cheered again.

"Mrs. Hayler are you drunk or something?" A guy at the back asked.

She gave him a confused look, "No, I'm just happy. I met a guy yesterday and he asked me out on a date tonight. Wohoo! I'm not going to die a virgin!" All of us laughed

And that ladies and gentleman, is the reason why I love Mrs. Hayler.

Present:

I laughed at the memory, Mrs. Hayler was such funny teacher. It looks like I'm not the only having a date tonight. I sighed, what could Mr. Andrew be doing right now? Is he thinking about me too? I shook my head, Rachel! you recently met the guy and you're thinking about him early in the morning? This is not a good sign! My subconscious scolded me, I scowled at her, can she just leave me alone? I looked at Haylie who was busy tapping on her phone.

"Who are you texting Haylie?" I asked, eyeing the phone curiously.

"Oh, it's my mum, she was asking if I was alright." She replied without looking up.

"Okay." I replied with a sigh

This time Haylie placed her phone on the table. She gave me a curious look.

"What's wrong, is something bothering you? Do you have a fever?" Haylie asked, her eyes filled with concern.

"It's just that I'm nervous, maybe I'll make a total fool of myself in front of Mr. Andrew."

Haylie smirked "You're thinking about him early in the morning? That's another first."

"I-it's not what you're thinking, I-I'm just. . . trying to be formal in front of a rich person." I stuttered, I felt my face heat up. What's wrong with me?

She rolled her eyes and popped a fry inside her mouth "Everyone knows you can't lie Rachel." she stated.

"Hey! I can lie too you know." I protested

"Whatever. Don't be pessimistic Rachel, I'm sure you'll be fine, just be yourself and be calm. I thought you don't have feelings for him? It's only dinner anyways."

I nervously played with my fingers, Haylie's right, everything's gonna be okay, I just needed to calm down. I took another sip of my orange juice. When I was done Mrs. Hayler told us to go inside the tour bus, we all obeyed her. As soon as we got in the bus, I sat down on the last seat. I turned on my iPod, as soon as I heard Lana del Rey's soft angelic voice I fell asleep.

I awoke when Haylie's head suddenly landed on my shoulder. I glanced at her, she was sleeping too. I smiled and laid my head on hers. I looked at the window, it started to drizzle. I never knew London weather could be so cold. I carefully pulled my jacket closer; trying not to disturbed Haylie's peaceful slumber.
