One and only

Chapter 2

We jumped on the train to the arena and were there within half an hour! Great right! Unfortunately there was already a HUGE queue to meet the boys. I bit my lip, because I wasn't sure if we'd even get round to meeting them at this rate. We had been waiting for an hour and me and kelli were falling asleep on our feet. "ohhh I just want to sit down!" I complained, when suddenly kalima's eyes bugged. "what?" I asked but she didn't reply, so I turned around. It was Beau! Ohmygodohmygodohmygod!!! I thought, but I played it cool and just raised and eyebrow and said "why are you taking so long? I want to sit down!" beau laughed and shook his head at me. "come this way" he took my hand and led us through the crowds. I don't know how he didn't get noticed!

Finally we reached the stage, and beau led us all backstage, where I collapsed in a chair with a sigh. "I'll be back in just a second, me and the boys have 10 minutes till we take a break for half an hour. We'll come see you then. Dont get into trouble!" I laughed and he walked off. Me and the girls sat there in silence for 10 minutes. I was honestly shattered, so I was dozing of in my chair when kelli suddenly blurted "holy mushrooms! We just met beau brooks!" I looked at her and replied "yeah? Kelli babe they're just normal people like us remember!" but she wasn't paying attention to me cos they all sat there squealing and shaking their hands around in the air like the fan girls they were. A second later they all ran off to redo their makeup and hair. As much as I loved those girls, they cared way to much about boys and looking good all the time, to be honest I much preferred guys as just friends.

I lay back in my chair and promptly fell asleep again. Then I was woken by the sound of laughter. I opened my eyes to see 5 boys huddled in the corner whispering among themselves. Suddenly I remembered where I was, and who these boys were, so whilst their backs were turned I crept up behind them and kneeled down. I had spotted a gap in between beau and James legs, so I wriggled between them and sat there, listening to what they said. "alright so we'll fill up a glass with water and pour it on her head?" Daniel grinned and they did some funny handshake then separated. Haha! They turned around to check on me only to find I wasn't there. I whistled and they spun around to see me sat on the floor behind them. "hey boys! You know, it's not nice to pick on sleeping girls!" I grinned and stuck my tongue out at them. They looked absolutely gobsmacked. "how did you...?" Jai stuttered but I just tapped the side of my nose in response and smirked.

"well hello to you guys too, so lovely to meet you" I said sarcastically, standing with my arms crossed. They shook themselves before grinning and greeting me back. "beau said you were bored and tired of waiting for us" Luke smiled and I chuckled and agreed. We got talking, because the boys wanted to know what it was like living in a country that was always so cold. I quickly told them it wasn't ALWAYS cold! We were just chatting, I realised that these boys really were just normal guys, it was nothing like how I expected talking to them would be! Daniel was being his usual disgusting self and decided to chase me around with some snot hanging out his nose (gross!) and I was screaming whilst the other boys laughed, when suddenly kelli, dara and kalima burst in through the door. "monique ohmygod you wouldn't-" they stopped in their tracks and stared at me. "what? Did Daniel get snot on me? Ewwww Daniel!" I squealed, spinning around to try and see my back, but there was nothing there. I looked at the boys and they shrugged at me. "kelli what is it?" I walked over to her, but she blanked me. "monique. Outside. Now" she ordered, an the boys chorused "ooooh" I turned round and rolled my eyes at them before following my best friends out. Leaning against the wall, I crossed my arms and said "what? I was having fun in there!" and kelli looked at me then said "yeah, we noticed. What happened to sharing them with us? You can't date all of them you know?" she snapped, and I stepped backwards in shock. "kelli!? You don't seriously think I'm trying to date all of them? Ewwww god no! There really nice guys, am I not just allowed to be just friends with them? I've only known them for-" I looked at my watch, then said "-20 minutes!" the girls looked at each other and shrugged, then said "ok then if you say so". I rolled my eyes at them as i turned around and made my way back into the room, the others following close behind.
