Lightning's plan was slowly coming together, piece by piece. As soon as the plan was over and all the horses had their own part to do, they set off to find the others that got captured, and the ones that got away and were trying to get back together. The main part of the plan was to follow the tire marks from the truck and trailer that held the missing mares. Warrior started to speak, "So the mares that escaped are Silver, Star, and WIsh?" "Yes." Wakita said.
White Lightning was beginning to come across tire marks and asked Wakita if this is where they got captured. "Yes Lightning, this is where the others got captured." All the horses knew they had a long ways to walk to get to the others. About two and a half hours later they were coming up on a gravel road and a barn. They were so relieved but at the same time scared because they know they could get caught to. They heard one of their mares whinnies but tried not to whinny back. "The neigh probably came from Angel." said Wakita. "It did." spoke Lightning, "I know my mares whinnies from anywhere."
All of the horses that were trying to save the ones that were captured, knew that they were about to start a new journey to save the others.
