Its been two weeks and Reba was out of town for a show. Grandpa was at work and I was stuck at home working on a chemistry paper. I was stressing be cause I'm in all college prep classes and still had psychology to work on.
After typing up my chemistry paper grandpa walked in. I look at the clock and realized I have been typing for 2 hours. I stretched and shut my laptop and rubbed my eyes.
"Hey Annie how was school." Grandpa asked.
"Tiring."" I say yawning. I stretch out on the couch closing my eyes.
"You take a nap I'll wake you up later." He chuckled. I nodded closing my eyes.
When I woke up I stretched and yawned again. I sit up and my back popped. I groaned and gathered my stuff.
"Grandpa are you still coming to grandparents day tomorrow?" I call out.
"Shoot!!!!" He said I chuckled lightly. "I forgot I have work I'm so sorry hun."
"Its okay grandpa." I said chuckling. I stand hearing a knock on the door. When I opened it I smiled.
"Grandma Reba!" I yell hugging her.
"Hey Darlin " she said hugging me back. When I finally let go I notice grandpa behind me I excuse myself knowing they were gonna kiss and didn't need to see that. I get my algebra 2 book out and looked at it like it had three heads.
"What on earth is this?!" I yell more to myself. Grandpa and Reba walked in confused.
"What?" Grandpa asked sitting next to me.
"What on earth is a quadratic function?"
He laughed and helped me really quick. When I was done I decided to let grandpa and Reba spend some time together since they been apart for two weeks and I'm supposed to be with my mom.
"Where you going?" Reba asked as I slipped my shoes on.
"Its almost 8" grandpa commented.
"Relax I told my friend jenny I would go help her with her English I won't be long. I'll call don't worry." I say pulling on a jacket.
"Well how far is she do you need a ride will her parents be home?" Reba rambled.
"Its okay grandma she's not far i can walk" I say chuckling.
"Bye love you guys" I say walking out.
I feel bad for lying to them I'm not really going to Jenny's we got in a fight last week and she won't talk to me so I'm just going to go to the park.
