When I made it to the park I sat at the picnic table and pulled out my phone. I texted grandpa and tell him I made it to Jenny's. I told him is be back in a few hours. I looked around the park and sighed. What am I going to do for a few hours. I stood up going to the swings and sat there and began to swing. After about twenty minutes of swinging I went to the play ground and climbed up to the slide. I laid back at the top and closed my eyes unwillingly going to sleep.
Nearly four hours I woke up I looked at my phone and saw it was almost one in the morning.
"Shoot" I slide down the slide and ran back to grandpas. When I got there I tried to quiet my heavy breathing. I quietly close the door behind me. I tip toe past the couch.
"Where were you we was worried sick" grandpa said from the couch as Reba hugged me tightly.
"Uh we fell asleep but I rushed home when I woke up." I say taking off my jacket. "Honest I'm sorry I didn't call." Grandpa nodded giving me a hug
"well I'm tired I'm going to bed night trouble maker." He teased.
"Night grandpa night grandma"I say sitting on the couch taking off my shoes.
"So where were you really?" Reba said sitting next to me.
"What do you mean."
"I called jenny she said y'all hadn't talked in two weeks."
"I went to the park and fell asleep on the slide." I said .
"Why?"
"I just needed some air."
"Wanna talk about it?"
"No... I just wanna rest its nothing." I say curling up on the couch.
"Come on lets get you to bed." She said standing up.
"I'm fine" I said closing my eyes. Suddenly I grabbed my arm and carefully pulled me up. She walked into my room pulling my blanket back and I crawled in I wasn't about to argue with her I knew she would win.
"Good night" she said kissing my forehead.
"G'night" I mumble. I really was tired so as soon as the light was off I was out.
