Luke's Child

Chapter 5.

Luke and I was driving home, only a 30 minute drive from the set, but my motion sickness made it feel like 3 hours. Luke turned on the radio, but not too loud because he knew I was still not feeling well. The faint sound of Bon Jovi's voice and the mixture of a little drizzle of rain hitting the car was the only thing we could hear.

"Babe, are you okay?" Luke asked looking at me with his worried look.

"I'm just thinking" I answered while I stare at a little stream of water going from one side of the window to the other.

"Jaz, if it's about the baby, we have time to figure this all out I promise, nine months, that's longer than you think."

"These next nine months are going to go by fast and I just..I'm scared." I rest my elbow on the door and my head on my hand. We turn into our drive way.

"Stay here" Luke runs out of the car with his red umbrella and opens my door "cmon cmon babe be careful."
Luke and I rush into the house as fast as we can, Luke having a firm grip on my waist making sure I wouldn't fall. Luke closes the door behind us and I walk over to the stool next to our

island and sit down turning on my laptop.

I begin to search up videos on how to baby proof things inside of the house. Luke walks behind me resting his head on my shoulder. "whatcha looking at?" I'm focused on the video and too concentrated to really answer so I just point. "babe come on let's go to bed, you have had a rough few days..you need your rest." Luke tugs and my shirt and follows his hands from my back to my stomach. "Not to mention you're sleeping for two now." I look at him and giggle a little. "I don't thing that's how it works Lucas." He smiles back at me, "That little laugh was what I've been waiting for all night..let's worry about this tomorrow" he says while closing my laptop and pulling my hand enough to get me off of the stool and into his arms.

*Luke's POV*
I walk Jaz to our room and she begins to take her shirt off. No baby bump quite yet but I couldn't help but being mesmerized by the way her body was glowing from the dim light in the room and the way her hair falls upon her back, she's so beautiful. I walk up to her and wrap my hands around her body and rest my head on her shoulder.
"you're the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on."
I grab her arm and led her to the bed, laying down, her arms wrapped around my chest and her legs intertwined with mine.
"and I'm lucky to have you." she says as she falls asleep, breathing soft and her hair had fallen on her face.
"I love you Jaz" I kissed her on her forehead and began to fall asleep.
