I remember when I was little, my parents and I went hiking on a mountain for our family trip. Even though my mom told me to be careful, I fell on the mountain and scrapped my knee. I honestly felt like that was the worst scar that I ever had. Of course, I wasn't in the BattleDome.

I only had one sword and couldn't risk showing my powers by summoning more. The audience couldn't see me, but if I show my power they will know I'm Violent. My enemy, the guy who forced me here, had a clean iron axe that sent powerful airwaves towards me. Whenever he would slice the air with his axe I would get cuts all over my legs or arms as I go flying back.

I landed hard on my back and he lumbered towards me with his axe raised. He was about to bring it down on me when I quickly rolled out of the way. I stumbled slightly to my feet and tried to slice some skin with my sword. He was quick despite the weight of the axe and my sword collided with the head of his axe. Sparks frayed out as I gritted my teeth to try to make a stance.

"You were trying to get the Mirror shard huh?" He suddenly said making me tense. How did he know? "A voice told me you were going to come. I had made a vow to protect the shard with my life." He backed up and I accidentally stumbled forward slightly only to be launched back because of the wind.

"What are you?" I asked weakly after I landed on the ground.

The man grinned slightly. His teeth were rotten like the clothes he wore. If he had hair, it would probably be greasy and rotten as well. "Ever heard of a Guardian?"

I frown. Guardian? What is that? I thought. I couldn't answer the question because wind started to pick up all around me. I felt the sand below me start to prick at my skin and I couldn't even open my eyes. I knew what he was playing at. Trying to strike me without striking him. Wait! No one can see me. Not even the crowd. I can use my power!

I focus on the floor below me and remember what Vail had told me.

"Focus. Despite someone trying to hide themselves they can't hide everything. Footsteps, breathing, pacing, shuffling. Listen. Focus."

I heard footsteps mainly. I was shocked I could even with the wind roaring in my ears, it must of been Violent's talents. He's getting closer. I thought. That axe wasn't helping him with stealth either. I couldn't help, but smile when I located him.

I dashed through the sand even though it prickled against my skin and multiplied my sword. I saw him as a shadow through the sand. I let out a battle cry as I stick my hand out and the sword fly towards him. He couldn't see it as it flew through and multiple sword went through his rotten skin. I ran past him at the same time as all my swords disappeared. Sand rained down between us before it was clear who had won.

A cheer mixed with boos filled the air, but all I cared about was getting out of here. They probably weren't happy that I killed their funniest participant. I moved my sword against the sand frantically as I tried to find the hatch that the rotten guy dragged me in. "Where is it?" I felt myself starting to panic even though I should be confident at the moment.

"Violet..." Said a voice making my head look up. I saw Emerald. Always seemed to pop up without anyone noticing. She made a motion and tilted her eyes one way. I followed it and saw Vail in one of the openings that was locked before. I smiled and started to run as fast as I could.

"Hey! Stop her!" Someone yelled behind me. Luckily, I had made it to Vail. He wrapped his arms around me and quickly drew me back at the same times the doors had shut. I looked over and saw Grey with wires around his hands.

"Found out how to close the doors." He said.

I let out a sigh once the adrenaline wore of and sagged slightly in Vail's arms. "Did any of you get the shard?" I ask tiredly.

"Yup!" Fin said happily as he tossed the mirror shard in the air before catching it.

I nodded. "Can we leave now? I hate this place."

~~~~~~~~~~~
"How the heck are we suppose to get the mirror?" Charm asked as flew through the air.
Shockingly, as we flew more and more, I got used to the feeling of my feet not touching the ground. I looked over at Charm and shrugged. "I'm not sure, but I wouldn't worry much. We need to focus on getting the mirror pieces."
"Gah, Violet stop moving around. It's a lot harder to treat your wounds then you would think." Vail said as he attempted to put solution on my wounds.
I gave him a apologetic shrug.
"We are heading to Tant Village." Emerald announced all of a sudden as she came out with Grey. "The shards seem to be pointing to it. We checked on the map."
"Isn't Tant Village that run down village?" Fin commented as he chewed on some food he had stole from the Battle Dome.
"It was. Until it struck some powerful gems and became a trading hub." Vail commented as he put on some more solution to my ankle.
"A trading hub? Do you think someone will recognize me?" I just got lucky at the Battle Dome. I could easily slip up and be trapped in this world.
"Don't worry." Emerald smiled at me. "I got you covered."
