Okay.First,bonding does not mean showering with treats.Give the puppy a place to sleep and show him or her there things.Play with a toy,pet and hold them.The first few days should be with key people you want your puppy to bond with.No matter size,puppies need to know people so they don't growl at strangers or bark all the time.Play outside and spend three to four days bonding and teaching your puppy to go to bathroom on a pee pad (better for at night when you sleep to teach them that - or for small dogs) or outside.Work -yes,but it will be worth it.
