Chapter Three: I Think I Love You

Jessica's P.O.V

After I introduced myself to Dani we headed to the guest room. We plopped all the shopping bags on the bed. "Okay, I didn't know your size so I bought two sizes, my size and one size bigger." She explained "Yeah...There's no way I'm your size!" I exclaimed while laughing. "I'm a dancer so I have to stay active." She told me "Oh okay...OH MY PANCAKES! DANI! THESE ARE AMAZING!!" I protested, she laughed at my statement "I'm glad you like them!" She giggled. Seriously though, Danielle has really good fashion sense. "Oh, and I got you a bikini for when you go to the beach." She told me as she pulled it out. It was a white and blue striped bikini. I liked it A LOT. "Wow! Thanks Dani!" I exclaimed as I gave her a hug "Oh, and I bought a few boxes of tampons....Asking the boys to get them is a nightmare." She told me "Oh thank Gandalf, I wondered about that. I barely know these guys!" I exclaimed with a laugh. "What time is it?" I asked myself as I pulled out my phone. 8:22pm, dang time flies! My stomach growled "Hey there, calm down, tiger." I said as I patted my tummy. Danielle laughed "I like you. I understand why Louis has quite the crush on you!" She exclaimed. My mouth dropped "Say what?! No, he can't...We're just...Friends..." I told her "That's what you think." She told me with a wink. "Well what do I do?" I asked her "Be nice to him, be his friend...Who knows, you might develop feelings for him." She explained. "I guess." I mumbled "Wait.." Dani said quietly "Do you like him!?" She asked me loudly "Sshh!!" I commanded "Do you?" She whispered, I rolled my eyes..."Okay, maybe a little." I mumbled "AWW!!! You two would make an adorable couple!!" She exclaimed. Yeah...Sure, whatever Dani. "Well, we should probably sort these and put them away." I told her while changing the subject. Dani got me some really stylish clothes. She got me all kinds of short-shorts, dark ones, washed ones, dyed ones, floral ones...Really, she bought the whole store. "How did you afford all these?!" I asked her as I picked up a turquoise blouse. "I'm a professional dancer, I get payed a lot." She told me with a smile. "That's really cool!" I exclaimed as I folded more clothes. Once we were done we walked into the kitchen "Guys I'm hungry, make me food." I told them as I crossed my arms and plopped down on the couch next to Louis. My stomach growled again "Dang, that thing is wild!" Louis exclaimed. "That's not the only thing that's wild." I said under my breath while smirking "What did you say?" Louis asked me with a smirk "Nothing!" I told him quickly. He smirked at me and leaned up to me "I heard what you said." He whispered, his hot breath tickling my neck. Butterflies were scattering in my stomach like there was a tornado going on in there. I think I felt his lips lightly make contact with my skin, but I'm not sure. Zayn walked in and Louis immediately went back to his original position. "Zaynie! I is hungry." I moaned "Food will be here soon, we just ordered pizza." He told me "YAY! How many?!" I asked him "Seven." He responded. "WHAT?! ONLY SEVEN?! Dude...Not cool, pick up the phone and order more." I told him jokingly "Yeah, order more!" Niall piped in. I quickly looked back at Louis, he smiled and gave me a thumbs up. "Please? Please please plleeeaasee??" I begged, I got on my knees and folded my hands "PLEASE?!" Niall begged as he followed my movements "Fine." Zayn gave in "But Niall's paying!" He finished as he took out his phone "What?! Why can't Jess pay?!" He asked "Uh dude..I have 5 dollars and 57 cents. That's enough to buy a doughnut." I explained "Oohhhh.." He responded. "Here, I'll give you a penny." I told him as I took one out of my pocket. He stuck out his hand "This is my lucky penny now." He told me as he sent me a wink and walked off to find his phone. Liam and Dani were on the patio, Harry was with Zayn and Niall went to order pizza. It's just Louis and I in the living room. I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist "You're my lucky penny." Louis whispered in my ear, his hot breath landing on my neck. He kissed my neck and made his way up to my cheek "Louis." I said as I pulled away from his grasp "I'm sorry..I don't know what came over me...." He told me, he looked down and started to walk away. "Louis!" I called him as I ran up to him and grabbed his wrist, I turned him around and we bumped into each other, I was about to fall but his arms  caught me. Our faces were only a few inches apart. "Louis." I whispered "Yes?" He whispered back, our heads got closer with every second "I think I love you." I whispered to him.

Louis's P.O.V

"I think I love you." She whispered to me, our eyes never leaving each other. I responded by bring my hand up to the back of her head and brought her face closer to mine. Our lips touched and she finished the gap on her own, our lips moved in sync. Fireworks were set off in my stomach. This was the best feeling in the world. This girl, whom I've known for only a few hours, is the love of my life. I know it, she's the one. I've never felt this way about any other girl. She pulled back and smiled at me. Her smile is so pretty, it's the best thing a girl can wear. Our gaze broke when the doorbell rang, "Pizza's here!" I called to the guys. I let go of Jessica as I went to answer the door. She quickly followed my feet and took grasp of my hand. I looked at her and she looked up at me and smiled. I answered the door, Jessica's fingers were still intertwined with mine. I took the pizzas and handed them to Jessica, she let go of my hand and dashed to the table. I gave the man a fifty and closed the door. "Guys! Pizza is here!" Jessica called to the boys. The sound of footsteps filled the room. Niall came down first, then Harry, and Zayn followed. Liam and Danielle entered holding hands and we started eating. Jessica ate three pieces and went for another one. "Niall, I think we found a girl version of you." Harry said with a chuckle "I thought she was a girl version of me!" I protested "Okay, she's a mix between Niall, Louis and Zayn. She's quiet and mysterious once you get to know her. And then she's all sassy and starts eating all your food." Harry explained. Jessica almost spat out her pizza because of her laughter. She swallowed and started laughing. "Wow Harry, that's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me." She said inbetween laughs. "So, why were you in L.A?" Niall asked. Jessica stopped eating and looked at me, then Niall, then Zayn. Her gaze on Zayn was longer than the others. I clenched my fists. I looked over and saw that Zayn's hand was on her knee. Back-off, she's mine. "Well.." Jessica started, her voice calmed me down. "My house was broken into, my parents were both doctors, so we were pretty rich." She explained. I looked over again to see Zayn holding her hand. "The robber shot my twin brother, Jonathan, my Mom, and my Dad." She said, her voice cracked. I walked over to her and started rubbing her shoulder, she sniffled and continued. "I was face to face with him, his eyes...They were so...Scary...I don't know how to describe them...Anyway, my brother told me to run, that was his last word. I ran to my room, grabbed my longboard, a ten dollar bill, my pillow pet, Mortimer and I climbed out my window. I longboarded all the way to L.A. I didn't keep track where I was going, I just left. I had to go far away from Portersville. I can never go back home." She explained, she took a deep breath "And then Zayn found me at the Gas Station...And here I am." She finished. I kneeled down and wrapped my arm around her. She released Zayn's hand and wrapped her arm around my shoulder, she started sobbing. "Shh..It's okay, we're here now." I whispered in her ear as I played with her short, blond hair. She sniffled and released. Everyone was looking at her with wide-eyes "And all I can really say is thank you for taking me here. I'll move out as soon as I can find a job and get enough money to get started." She told us "Not on my watch." I told her "You're living with us, perminately." I told her, she smiled ear-to-ear. "Really?" She asked us "Of course!" Liam exclaimed. "Oh my pancakes.." She said quietly "I think I love you." She told us "Hey now, he's my boyfriend." Danielle joked. Jessica laughed and squinted her eyes. She's so cute when she laughs. "Hey, wanna go to the beach tonight?" Zayn asked "Dude, that'd be awesome!" Jessica exclaimed "Alrighty then! Let's go get ready!" Liam told us and we ran off to our rooms. There's something about Jessica that just stands out...I don't know what it is, but I like it. No, scratch that. I love it.
