Chapter Seven: Let Go

Jessica's P.O.V

The recording studio wasn't too bad. I mostly played on my phone and laughed at the guys when they failed. I read through some of texts messages that Jonathan sent me. I know I need to let go...But I can't. He's my brother! My twin brother! He pulled my hair, called me names, took my toys and would hit me for no reason but I love him still. He's my brother, I can't let go...
"Hello!" I heard a voice call, I turned around to find Ed. "Ed!!" I called as I ran up to hug him. "Jess!" He mocked as he held his arms out. I ran into them and pushed him back a little but he caught his balance. "Wow, someone likes hugs." He laughed "I'm sorry, I just really need one right now." I told him as I squeezed him before I released him from my arms. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked me, I sighed. "Do you want to know?" I asked him "Why not? I might as well get to know you, I have a feeling that we're going to be hanging out a lot." He told me. I smiled. I, Jessica Wright, will be hanging out and be personal friends with Ed Sheeran....AH! FANGIRL MOMENT! I contained my inner-fangirl and took a deep breath. "Okay....I don't really know where to start." I admitted as we sat  down "Do the boys know?" He asked me "Yes." I breathed "Tell me what you told them." He told me as he grabbed my hand. "Well, my parents were rich, our house got broken into. The robber shot my Mom, my Dad and my twin brother, Jonathan." I started, my voice cracked when I thought of Jonathan. I cleared my throat and continued "Jonathan told me to run, so I did. I grabbed my longboard, pillow-pet and some money. I longboarded all the way to L.A from Portersville. I ran into Zayn and they had me stay at their place. I fell  in love with Louis and here I am talking to you." I finished. "Wow.." He breathed "What part do you want to talk about?" He asked me "Jonathan." I sighed "He's my closest brother...Or he was...My other brother, Jeff, he ran off somewhere with his girlfriend. Leaving me with my parents, Jonathan, and my oldest brother, James." I started "I keep trying to forget Jonathan but I can't! I'm constantly reminded by him. Whether it's Lou's happiness or Niall's braces or Zayn's quiff....I can't get him out of my mind. I wear his clothes and smell his cologne, which he wore way too much of. I always hated the smell but now...I miss it." I explained "I want to let go but a part of me wants to hold on...I'm torn." I finished. Ed listened the whole time. He just sat there speechless. I sniffled and wiped away a tear "I'm sorry." I whispered as I started to stand up, he grabbed my wrist "Jess, you'll never forget Jonathan, and you can try to let go but you never will. There will always be a part of you that seems missing, and that part is Jonathan. Yeah, you're going to miss him a lot, I understand. But you'll move on, time will help. Being with the boys I think is the best thing for right now. They'll become like brothers, just like they are to me." He told me. Wow. Just wow...Ed, I freaking love you right now. I didn't say anything. I just pulled him into a tight hug and started sobbing. "Thank you." I whispered. Ed rubbed my back and comforted me in his arms. "Ed." I sniffled as I let go and looked him in the eye. "This is weird, but I'm a big fan, would you mind?" I asked him as I held out my phone "Of course not, love!" He responded. Ed. Freaking. Sheeran. Just. Called. Me. Love....Great elephants I think I'm gonna die. He took my phone, I got ready for a picture but instead he started entering numbers into it. My mouth dropped "If you ever need anything, I'm just a call away." he told me as he gave back my phone. "Holy cats...Ed, thank you." I told him quietly as I pulled him into another hug. "But can I get a picture?" I asked him with a laugh "Sure darling." He responded, I pulled out my phone and took funny pictures the whole time until the boys FINALLY finished. "Well it's about time!" I exclaimed with a laugh as Ed and I both stood up simultaneously. Lou pulled me into a hug "Did you have fun?" he asked me "Yeah, thanks to Ed!" I responded as I released myself from the hug and smiled at Ed. "I got done early, so I thought I'd stop by to keep Jess company." He told them "And I'm sure glad he did!" I said with a laugh "You guys took forever!" I added "Sorry, we have a lot of songs!" Niall replied "Yeah sure, I but you guys were just goofing off the whole time." I gave my two cents. Ed laughed, I looked at him strangely. "What?" I asked him "You're spot on." Harry told me. "Oh...Wow..." I laughed "Let's go home, we need to clean up and then-" "PARTY HARDD!!!!!" Louis cut Liam off. I laughed at Lou's outburst. "Yeah buddy!" I responded as I high-fived Louis. "You two are so cute, get married." Ed told us. I laughed "Dude, I'm 19." I responded "Oh...Right." he replied. As soon as we arrived to the beach home and the limo was parked I dashed out and got ready. I put on the same bikini Dani got me, it's my only one so...Yeah...I put on some washed and ripped short-shorts and a loose, hot-pink tank top that said "Live While We're Young.", I brushed my hair and headed down the stairs. It was just Zayn who was ready....Fantastic. "Hey Jess!" He exclaimed as he saw me from his sitting position on the couch. "Hi Zayn." I replied as I plopped on the couch by him. Honestly, I'm kind of scared around Zayn. "Vas Happenin?" He asked me. I giggled "Waiting on people." I responded "What's up with you?" I asked him. "I got a girlfriend." He responded with a smile as he kept playing with his phone. I took his phone. "Hey!!" He shouted "Wait a minute!" I called as stood up and walked out of the room. I read their texts. They are so adorable. I walked back in with a giant smile on my face. "You two are adorable!!" I exclaimed as I handed out his phone, which he gladly took. "What's her name?" I asked him "Perrie." He responded. "Perrie Edwards!? From Little Mix?!" I asked him "Correct." He responded. I paused and then started screaming and jumping. I love Little Mix. "How come you guys know so many famous people?!" I asked "I dunno." He responded "How come you like a bunch of music of people we know except ours?" He asked back, I giggled "I dunno." I responded with a smirk as I sat back down. Niall, Harry and Ed entered while laughing about something. "Harreh!" I called "What's up?" He asked "Where's Lou?" I asked him while making a pouty face "He's still getting ready." He responded. Liam entered and we were just waiting on Louis. "You want to get your lovely boyfriend, Jess?" Harry asked "He's yours too so why don't you get him?" I asked back. "OH SNAP!" Ed exclaimed as he gave me a high-five. I giggled "Larry Stylinson shipper I presume?" Niall asked "Larry what? I don't know what that is, I just assumed Harry was gay." I joked. Harry's mouth dropped "Just kidding Harry!" I added as I gave him a hug. "Larry Stylinson forever." I told him as I looked up and sent him a wink. But seriously, what is Larry Stylinson? I should really do some research on these guys...My thoughts were interrupted when Louis walked in. "Did I walk in on something?" He asked, I pulled away from Harry "Oh, you didn't." I told him with a smile. "Okay." He responded skeptically. Really Lou? It was just a hug. "Well, shall we go?" Liam asked. "Be right back, I'm gonna go grab my longboard." I told him as I ran to my room. I grabbed my longboard and headed out but I bumped into someone. I looked up to see that is was Louis. "Is there something going on between you and Harry?" He asked me. "No Lou, I just offended him so I apologized and gave him a hug." I clarified. He chuckled and nodded. "Okay, I'm sorry. I just got a little more protective since last night." He told me. Last night? Oh right..Zayn...."Guys! We're leaving!" Liam called. "Coming!" Louis and I said in unison. "Let's go!" I exclaimed. I longboarded on the pier because you can't longboard on sand, obviously. And I ended up getting there first. I put down a towel and sat down on it. I played with my phone as I waited for the boys. Harry arrived first, he was running...Fast...He was holding a bag of marshmallows and Niall was chasing him. "Jess!! Help!" he called "Nope!" I laughed as I watch them chase each other. Harry threw the bag at me and I caught it. I was about to throw it back but I was thrown back to the ground. I opened my eyes to find Niall on top of me. We locked eyes but I immediately snapped out of it and threw the bag back to Harry. "Harry!" I called, he tossed the bag to me and I opened it "NO!!" Niall shouted as he started running closer to me. I popped one into my mouth, then another, then another. "NO!!!" Niall repeated. I started running. I ran into Louis, "Well hello there." He said in a flirty way "Hello!" I told him, I looked back to see Niall, he was getting closer with every second. I dropped the marshmallow bag in Louis's hands and ran "Good bye!" I told them as I ran to the pier. I got my longboard and went for a ride. "Having fun?" I heard a voice say. I look back "Oh Ed, you scared me." I breathed "Sorry. Watcha doing?" He asked me "Oh, just thinking." I replied "About what?" He asked as he walked closer to me "I dunno, Louis and stuff..." I replied, a smirk pranced on his face. "You know, if Louis grew up in Portersville, he'd probably be James's and Jonathan's best friend, and I'd be that girl who had a crush on my brother's best friend." I told him with a laugh. "That's kinda weird..." He responded "I know." I told him with a laugh. "Let's go back." He responded as he reached out his hand. "Okay, but I'm not holding your hand." I responded with a wink. "Alright." he replied as he turned around "Because I'm gonna jump on your back!" I responded as I jumped on him, he lost his balance but quickly regained it. I completely forgot about my longboard, "Ed! Wait!" I told him "We can get it later, this is a private area." He responded. I nodded, even though he can't see me. "Faster!" I responded. We went to the beach and was met with the boys, they were all laughing, except for Louis...

Louis's P.O.V

Jessica dropped the bag of marshmallows in my hand and next thing I know I was on the ground, Niall on top of me. "What the heck, Niall?!" I asked. "Sorry Lou." He said as he got up and took the marshmallows. I looked around, Jess was gone, and so was Ed? Why is she hanging out with everyone EXCEPT me?! I'm her boyfriend for pete's sake...Wait...Who's Pete? I sat by Harry around the fire. My attention was drawn to laughter...Jess..."Faster!" I heard a familiar voice call. She came in sight. On Ed's back. Ugh. She laughed until she saw me. She got off of Ed and sat by me on the log. "Hi Louis." She said as she looked up at me. I looked down at her. I look away "Helloooo?" She asks as she waves a hand in front of me. I slap it back. "Hi." I tell her aggravatingly. Okay, I can't take this anymore. She doesn't even get it! I stand up and walk away. I hear footsteps behind me. "Well what crawled up your bum?" She asks me "Seriously?!" I snap back as I turn to face her. "What's wrong?" She asks "You." I responded. She stays silent. "You hang out with everyone except me, I saw you and Niall, and you and Ed, are you some kind of toy? You said you loved me!" I ranted "Louis, I do love you!" She responds "Then how come you always hang out with Ed?" I asked her "Louis, he's my favorite artist. And he helped me a lot." She told me "With what?" I asked her "With letting go." She responds...Of who?..Me? "Of who?" I ask "Jonathan, my parents, my life in Portersville." She responded. I sigh a breath of relief. "I'm sorry." I tell her "No, I'm sorry. You're right, you're my boyfriend, and I should spend more time with you." She responds. I pull her into a hug. I kissed her hair and she looked up at me. She got on her tip-toes and pecked my lips. "I love you." She whispered "I love you too." I respond. We release each other from each other's arms and we walk back hand-in-hand. "Well it looks like Lou's better." Niall says "Jess just has that magic touch." Harry adds. Jess giggled at his remark. She's so cute. We roasted marshmallows, told stories, and laughed. I looked at Jess, she had a look in her eyes. They were different from when she first arrived. They're...Happy.

A/N Sorry that Jessica's P.O.V was WAYYYYYY longer than Louis's, I didn't know what else to add to it..:/ So yeah, if I continue this story (Please comment if you like it) it will be on hold starting Wednesday. Probably for a month or so I don't know yet. Vote/Comment/Share! :D
