"I hate every bone in his body." I say to Riley has I storm down the halls. Why was Lucas Friar even so special? He's an awful person and and awful actor.

"Ok, just tell me what happened." Riley said trying to keep up with me. I was walking at a fast pace for two reasons.

One, they were having chicken patties for lunch today.

Two, it just adds to the mood you know?

"What do you want Lucas?" I ask him has a put my order pad in my pocket of my apron.

"Come on, don't act like your not happy to see me." Lucas said with a smirk comes to me.

"Sorry, I shall not tell a lie." I say with a scowl on my face. Lucas just lets out a chuckle and shakes his head.

"I bet you have pictures of me all over your room." He said walking towards me.

"You know what? Your right, I use them for dart practice." I say with a fake smile. I couldn't help but give myself a mental high five for that one.

"You sure? I bet there's one with lip stick stains on it. Maybe even a cut out?" Lucas ask but it was obviously not a question.

"You'd lose that bet." I say walking up to him.

"No I think your secretly in love with me. Just like all the other girls in this country." Lucas said with a smirk.

"And I secretly think you have brain damage oh wait, it's not a secret." I shoot back.

"Please, don't act like you haven't missed me." Lucas says.

"I'll leave the acting to you. Oh wait, you can't do that either." I say.

"Just admit you have a huge obsession over me." Lucas suggested.

"That's it?" Riley asked. I gave her a confused look.

"That's it?! He humiliated me in front of everyone." I stopped talking.

"Bryan?" Riley asked. My cheeks flared bright red.

Bryan Crossworth. I've told you about him but oh my lord he's fine. Captain of the basketball team and looks like that. Yes please.

"Hush!" I say. "No one must know."

"Oh come on Maya, he's perfect for you." Riley said.

"Almost. Only if he wasn't dating Kota Wright." I say with a pouting look. Even the most mighty fall at some point, Bryan's falling point was asking Kota to homecoming as a freshman and asking her to be his girlfriend after.

"Their gonna break up." Riley said.

"You said that freshman year."

"Well you had your awkward stage in freshman year"

"That's what you said sophomore year."

"Well their obviously tired of each other."

"Junior year."

"Well I got nothing." Riley said sitting down on the floor against the lockers. I sit with her.

"Remember in seventh grade where you were practically in love with Tristan the cowboy?" I ask remembering Tristan. Ah Tristan, he was this guy from Texas who apparently did some bad shit there so he had to leave and Riley was crazy for him.
