The Balls Start and How I ended up singing at them?!

UGH! I hate this time of year because it's when you have balls one day after another. Today I'm going dress shopping because I have about 18 balls to go to with 2 days of rest in between every 4 balls. The first one starts this coming up Friday and today is Wednesday. On 5 of the days you will be walking down the big grand stairs, on the others you enter through the lower doors. The reason behind the balls is for young ladies to find their future husbands.

Anyway my Mother is waiting for me; I better go before she gets mad. As we head to our first store my Mom is telling me that I was every rude to Prince Caden but I didn't really care if I was rude to him or not. As we walk through the doors I spot a dress that I want right away, its light pink and purple and the main color is purple with pink wrapped around the top and a layer of pink on the skirt part. I head right to it and take it off the rack and tell my Mom I'm going to try this dress on, she nods her head.

This is how my day went all day but by the end of the day I had my 18 dresses ready to go shoes and all.

The next day I lay in bed until noon when I was made to get up and walk around or run. I put on my running clothes and headed out with iPod. I ran into a cute boy while running, I mean ran into him that I almost fell. This day was going to be a great day....

As my favorite song came on, Mean by Taylor Swift. I saw him, yep that's right you guessed it, Caden. I know he saw me but I tried to act like I hadn't seen him and kept on running. That is until I heard footsteps coming from beside me. So I turned my head to the side and said, "Leave me alone!" "Why Babe?" He sounded hurt but I knew he wasn't at all. Then he grinned at me. "Cause I want one free day plus night of Caden! Before I have to see you every single night!!" I yelled.

I ran faster to see if could keep up with my pace which he could. So I just went on running as if he wasn't there at all. Another one of my favorite songs came on, Edge of Glory by Lady Gaga. So I started to sing along like I always do:

As the song finished I didn't realize that I was being watched until, guess who had to ruin my little moment. Which is where Caden cut me off from singing by saying "Wow, you're really good" "Uh... thanks I guess?" "You should sing at a couple of the balls, it would mix things up a little bit and my father would love it a lot" "Sure, why not" and I didn't want to say yes but if I didn't I would be in a lot of trouble with my parents because you do not say no to royal.

The next morning I got up later than I usually do, 'weird' I thought. I looked at the clock, 'CRAP!' I only had 2 hours to get ready for the ball! Plus there was a note on my night stand that said I would be singing tonight and needed to ready an hour earlier. Which left me only 1 hour to get ready, double CRAP?
