~6 months later~
"Hey guys, what is up? My name is Dawn Guilbert on My Digital Escape!" I said to the camera. "This week is music week. So today, I'm going to tell you guys my favorite music, how I got into it, favorite bands and songs, and some other things!" Ever since that video with Kyle, I really got into YouTube videos. I finally grew the balls and bought a camera. Johnnie really helped get me pretty popular. I'm now a new member of My Digital Escape. These past few months I've gone from the really awkward shy girl to the confident girl that I wanted to be. I started wearing makeup and actually starting styling my hair. I actually have a style now. I used to wear random t-shirts all the time. Now my wardrobe consists of band t-shirts and other dark clothing. I like who I've become. It was a long process, but YouTube really helped with that, and so did Lisa. After my video, I went downstairs. Johnnie was doing some homework and watching TV. "What are you watching?" I asked, plopping down by him. "Spongebob." "My fav." I took a few chips from the bowl on the couch. "Guess who's finally home." "Who?" I asked. "Kyle and Kylie." "Damn, they've been gone forever!" Kyle and Kylie went on Warped Tour shortly after our kiss. They haven't been home since. I haven't really talked to either of them. But my feelings for Kyle have just gotten stronger. "Yeah, Kyle's at the store right now. He's coming over later." "I should go surprise him," I said. "He's at Walmart if you want to go." "Yeah I'll go. I'll see you later." I grabbed my keys and put on some shoes. I drove the short distance to Walmart. I can't wait to see the brown haired cutie. I entered the store and started to walk around. To make it look like I wasn't stalking Kyle, I grabbed some cookie dough (my fav) and some red lipstick (also my fav). Kyle was still out of sights. I eventually got to the chips section and decided to grab a bag. I ended up grabbing one too many bags of chips and dropping everything. "Here, let me help you," a familiar voice said. I looked up and there was Kyle was there. No matter how confident I was, I was still super nervous to see him. He picked up my items and placed them in my arms. "Hi Kyle," I said. I think this was the first time I've spoken to him that wasn't a whisper. "Oh hi! You watch my YouTube videos?" he asked. I was confused. Did he not recognize me? "Uh yeah." "What's your name?" Wow. He really didn't recognize me. I wonder if he even remembers me. He's probably met too many girls to not even remember me. Just shows how important I was in his life. "Dawn." "Nice to meet you!" He gave me an awkward hug that I couldn't return because of all the shit in my arms. "Nice to meet you too." I walked away after that. Wow, that really hurt. I paid for my stuff and drove home. "How did it go?" Johnnie asked. I tossed him a bag of his favorite chips, which he excited opened. "He didn't recognize me." "What?" he asked with a mouth full of food. "Yeah. It was very awkward." "I'm sorry sissy." Johnnie knew about my crush on Kyle. It was hard to admit it to him because I thought he would get mad. But he actually thinks its cute. I sat down and started eating a bag a Funyuns. I noticed Johnnie changed Spongebob to American Dad. Someone knocked on the door, probably Kyle. Johnnie went and answered it. "Hey dude!" Johnnie said and pulled him in a hug. "It's been forever!" "I know right!" Kyle walked in. His eyes went wide when he saw me. "Dawn?" he asked. "Yup." "I am so sorry I didn't recognize you at the store!" Kyle said. "It's okay." "Can I get a real hug?" he asked. I stood up and gave him a giant hug. Butterflies flew in my stomach. I couldn't stay mad at him. "Wow, you've changed," he said. "Thanks?" "I don't mean in a bad way." I chuckled. "Well how was Warped." "Oh my god, absolutely amazing!" he said. He went on to tell us of his adventure of Warped Tour. Maybe next year I can get popular enough to go, but probably not. I did go to Warped in my city. It was a blast. I'm so jealous of how Kyle got to hang out with Asking Alexandria, Pierce The Veil, New Year's Day, and so many other bands all summer. After catching up with Kyle, us three decided to watch a funny movie together.
