"Good morning Stephen!" The beautiful melodic voice again. Every day it's been ringing inside my head from time to time.

"Good morning..." I groggily replied to the voice. I didn't open my eyes as I lay down in my warm bed. My blankets were tightly wound around my body, keeping the crisp wind of fall from chilling me to the bone. It was 5:45 am and the sun wasn't even slightly peaking over the horizon to turn the sky into a light pinkish hue that would signal everyone it was daybreak.

"Time to get out of bed and have some fun." The silky voice was clear. As if someone was whispering in my ear. I only turned away from the voice, sensing the wall my bed was pushed up against, I leaned my forehead against it. The fall chill that circulated my room had turned the wall cold to the touch; giving me goosebumps as the cold seemed to seep into my skin and down into my veins. Freezing my blood dry and stopping my heart. I didn't mind if the cold became an infection inside my body, freezing me from the inside out. "I would mind though Stephen, come on baby, I want to get out." That voice again... It'll never leave me alone, only I didn't mind it either. I rolled myself onto my back and pulled my blankets over my head; blocking out the world and making a singular world under the fabrics of my blankets and my world only consisted of solely me. I felt pressure collapsing my world around me until the peaceful world I created became a tomb and slowly stealing the precious air I needed to survive in this world. I groaned angrily and flung my blankets against the wall; welcoming the chilliness that had awaited to snatch away every drop of warmth I had accumulated while I slept in my bed. All I had on were sweats; I had socks on when I went to bed last night but I guess I had stripped those off while I slept. The air was giving me goosebumps and made the hair on the back of my neck stand on end, so I went to my dresser and grabbed a t-shirt. Pulling it over my head, my vision was blocked off long enough that when I got my head through the top part of my shirt, someone was standing in front of me. My fuzzy brain couldn't comprehend who it was, their face was still somewhat hidden because the darkness of my room and the world outside my house was still dark as night. I wasn't startled in the least. I finished pulling my arms through the holes of my shirt and pulled the hem of the shirt down to cover my abdomen. This person that was in my room had their eyes on me; inspecting me from head to toe. I felt the heat radiating off their skin, considering how close they were to me. Arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me against the warm body; grateful for the warmth I missed, I instinctively wrapped my arms around them. Nostalgia quickly overcame me - which was weird considering I couldn't think of someone or something I would've wished to have again. Looking down at the smaller figure against me, I could tell it was a girl because of their hair and the perfume that had decided to enter my nostrils and fill with me an even stronger nostalgic feeling; my mind was slowly whirling to store up this information and search my mind for anything that was familiar. I was still looking down at the girl when she looked up at me - her eyes were a gorgeous blue green, reminding me of a forest and blue sky that were intermingling with each other within her eyes. Unconsciously I smiled at her and she smiled back at me; her plump lips curling up to reveal a perfect row of white teeth.

"Hello there Terry." The words passed my lips, again, unconsciously. My mind shocked itself awake with the mention of Terry - my girlfriend. With the recognition, the girl softly giggled; sending butterflies rampaging through my stomach. She went on her toes and pressed her lips against mine, perfectly shaped to mine and tearing away the morbid cold with her unnatural warmth. My eyes fluttered shut as I saw memories flooding my vision just like if I was watching a movie of my life. It was a short movie with a terrible ending - when Terry died. A shot of emotions whipped into my brain that came from my heart that I forgot was still beating. How unfortunate. I slowly opened my eyes and noticed my room was empty. That entire body of warmth dissipated and left me once again hollowed out by this unforgiving cold that wouldn't let up. "Goddamit!" I balled my hands into fists and pounded my head into the wall once, twice, and I went for a third time but I was rudely interrupted by my mother.
