"Rick ?"

"What Kate?" He asked and I could tell it was anger in his voice.

"What's up your ass ?"

"Nothing Kate." He says with laughter.

"What's funny?"

"What's with all the questions Kate?"

"Rick are you mad at me or something?"

"Why do you think that Kate?"

"Because every time I ask you a fucking question you say my name at the end."

Rick laughs

"I'm not doing this." Kate says.

"Okay Kate whatever."

"You know what Rick. I'm done with the bullshit okay. First you say you love me then you start crying. We leave the hospital and you don't say two words. Hell you didn't even say one. Then we get here and you have an attitude. I don't know what's got you upset but I'm done."

"That's not fair."

"Oh so now the shit isn't fair?"

"Kate?"

"You know what.. You can leave.. Bye Rick."

"Kate?"

"BYE RICK ! "

"Okay fuck it."

"Fuck it." He says slamming the door behind him.

(Three days later)

Knock knock

"Who is it?" I ask.

"Its Amy bitch.. Let me in."

"What's up girl?"

"Nothing much.. Kate what's wrong with you?"

"I'm fine Amy."

"No you were fine before that like that hot piece of ass leave here." She said.

"What? That's ridiculous."

"Kate he was good for you."

"No he wasn't."

"Amy?"

"Kate just admitted you miss him don't you?"

"Fine Amy. Yes I miss him."

"So call him."

"No. It's over." I said with my head down.

"It doesn't have to be." A voice said behind me and Amy, making us both jump.

"Shit you scared me." Amy said.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to." Rick said.

"Rick what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Amy could you give us a minute. Please if you don't mind?" Rick asked.

"Yeah. Sure." Amy said walking out of my room, closing the door behind her.

"Rick?"

"Kate wait let me go first."

"Okay. Fine."

"Katherine Beckett if I would have known I was going to fall in love with you I would have changed years ago."

"Rick you don't have..." He cut me off yet again.

"Kate please let me finish."

"I'm sorry."

"No I'm sorry for how I treated you. I was stupid. The last few days had me wondering how my life would be without you. And it sucked. I missed you so much. I even cried like a Lil ass boy. Yes I got problems. Who doesn't? But with you, some how all of my problems are gone. And when I'm not with you, they come back. I love you Kate, and pretending not to love you was the worst thing I have ever done. And I would love to call you my girlfriend again. If you would have me?"

"Rick that was so sweet. I miss you to." I said.

"Kate, don't cry." Rick said.

"I'm sorry. Its just no one has ever said those things to me before."

"Good, because then I wouldn't have got a chance to say them."

"Rick I would to e your girlfriend again." I said. With that he ran to hug me. Throwing us both on the bed.

"You make me so happy Kate." He said kissing me. And I'm not gone lie, I moss him and he makes me happy to.

"I love you to Rick." I said between our kiss.

"What?" He said.

"You heard me?" I said.

"Yeah I was just trying to make sure I heard you right that's all."
