"Abi wake up." I heard someone say. I looked at the time.
"Cameron it's 5am what do you want." I said rolling over and looking at him.
"How many chins do I have." He said. I was so confused until he made a weird face.
"Like 8...??" I said laughing a little.
"New record!!" He said. I rolled my eyed and sat up.
"Well since you woke me up." I said putting an oversized hoodie on. "Want breakfast?"

"I'm really lucky to have you in my life." Cameron said taking my hand. We were currently driving to visit his mom. We finally arrived and we got out of the car. Cameron unlocked the door and we walked in.
We heard someone laughing. Cam gave me a confused face and I just shrugged. I followed him to the kitchen and he stopped dead in his tracks.
"Ryan?" He said.
Oh my God... Ryan was Cameron's dad who left..
"Cameron! Hi, how are you doing?"
Cameron just stepped back.
"Why are you here? You decide to leave me and mom and all of a sudden you decide to come back? Where the hell were you all my life? Now you come back???" Cameron snapped.
"Cameron. Calm down." I whispered taking his hand. He just shook his head and stormed out of the house. I have never seen cameron like this.
"Hi.. um I'm Abigail." I said introducing myself.
"Hi. I'm Ryan. I have heard lots about you from Gina."
"I'm so sorry about Cameron." Gina said shaking her head. "Abigail if you don't mind can you talk to Cameron? He won't listen to us if we try.."
I nodded my head. I came outside and saw that Cameron took his car instead of mine. He must of left his car here once.
I quickly got in and drove off knowing exactly where he'd be.

As I drove up to the restricted area of the cliff I saw his car in the distance. I got out and started walking. I pushed away the hanging vines of the willow tree and saw him sitting at the edge looking to the city.
I sat next to him and lay my head on his shoulder. He put his arm around me and sniffled.
"I'm sorry about that.. I'm just in shock." Cameron said. "It's just the fact that I needed him to be my dad all my life and he finally decided to have the nerve to come back.. "
It felt nice to here Cameron call him his dad.
"What about this." Cameron said. "Tomorrow we just have a day to us. We can just go to the park or something and not worry about anything that happens. I nodded.
"Sounds....

The next day Cameron picked me up and told me we were going to a little area on the beach that is private because no one ever goes to that spot.
When we got there he had a little camp fire set up. We sat down by it and just talked about life. The ups and Downs. I couldn't help but notice that I can relate to everything that Cameron told me.
"Abi I can't help but just say that I am very lucky to have you in my life. You've made me a better person." He smiled.
"Cam you don't have to say that. Come on. You have done lots of great things without my help." I said. He shrugged.
"Love you." He said. I smiled and we lay there looking at the stars.
My phone went off and I got a text from an unknown number. I saw the picture and nearly fell apart. It was a picture of Katy and Cameron kissing and the text read:
Lucky? Honey you just got played
I sat up and didn't know what to say.
"Abi are you okay? You--"
"You're a liar." I said and sat up getting ready to leave.
"What??" He said and got up. I turned and started to leave but he grabbed my arm. "Abi what are you talking about?"
"Has this whole thing been some kind of game to you? A lie? Cameron I seriously trusted you!" I said. I showed him the picture. And he couldn't say anything.
"Yeah.. that's what I thought."

As I saw her walk away from my life, something held me back. I didn't chase after her this time.
I stood there and watched her walk further and further away from me and my life.
