As Jackson pushes me up against the cold, metal lockers, kissing me passionately, everyone is staring. I don't care. They want to watch the cutest couple make out in the hallway.
Yes, I said the cutest couple. Last year, the year before that, and the year before the year before that, Jackson and I were voted "Cutest Couple" in the yearbook.
I love him so much. He doesn't care how messy my hair is, how bad my breath smells, he'll still make out with me in the hallways. He makes me feel hot, even though I'm the ugliest person in Abercrombie High School. He insists that nobody taunts him for dating me; they do, I know all his friends make fun of him.
We're still the cutest couple going on four years now. We're seniors. I turn 18 next week. Jack swears he's got my present all figured out. I'm excited to see what it is.
The bell rings. I break the kiss.
"I'm late!" I told him.
"Love you," he said.
"Love you too, babe!" I turn to blow him a kiss. He catches it and puts it on his cheek. I laughed at his idiotness.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
History is boring.
Blah blah blah, Civil Rights, slavery, blahhhh! I wished I was still pushed up against those cold metal lockers in the hallway, feeling my lips on Jack's. Oh, the feeling.
